The player assumes the role of a blaster, who works his way up from small jobs to big ones. A level is considered to be solved, if the predetermined demolition rate has been reached and all set targets have been met.
The buildings are made of in real-time calculated walls, pillars and carriers which explode or collapse back upon themselves according to the used explosive. Every single action can be witnessed due to live cameras. The most sensational blasts can even be stored. Beside the career mode, once finished levels can be chosen individually so that you can go for the highscore at any time. An additional feature is the international best list where only the worldwide most successful blasters are listed.

Well this game could've been good in 90's ,but this kind of graphics in 2010? Developers say "Detailed landscape in 3D graphics", but again they probably live in another dimension when games with details like this one are considered as "detailed". Game is interesting at the beginning. You will enjoy it a lot for some hours just to blow around whatever you want, but those 30+ missions make your experience with the game quite boring. My advice is stay away from this game unless you are some maniac collector of simulator games.

If you can look past the very dated graphics and sometimes really hokey physics, Blaster Simulator is a surprisingly decent game. Being able to time your detonations to inflict maximum damage and, therefore, the best score, is pretty neat. This also adds to a replayability factor, and you can save videos of your best blasts to see again. Using the four different types of explosives produces different results on different materials, and a successful completion usually requires use of everything you're given. Laying them is as simple as clicking the type, and clicking where you want it placed. The physics aren't overly realistic, and that's the biggest flaw in the game. Blowing the bottom off a smokestack can result in a piece of rubble keeping the whole thing upright, causing a mission re-do, or sometimes several. The graphics do the job, if you like looking at stuff from the early days of computing. I didn't much care about that, since the explosions look good. Now, my main complaint with the game. I'd swear nobody tested some of the later missions, since it's not that they're difficult, it's more that you're not given enough of the right type of explosive. Spending hours of trial and error on one mission is pretty grating on the nerves and patience, and slowly ruins the game.
Blaster Simulator is quite an interesting and original game. Your job is to demolish things using 'blasts'. It gets quite fun near the beginning, but soon the endless demolishing becomes dull and boring. The graphics are awful (to say the least) and I didn't enjoy the game. Verdict: Overpriced, dull and horrible to look at.
