Game description

In the ‘50s Rock’n’Roll music was spawned straight from hell and was so evil that it turned dead people into Zombies!

Three survivors - Jack Foster, a construction worker, Foxy Jones, a traffic warden, and Mike Bacon, a perpetually hungry boy scout - have formed an unlikely alliance to protect themselves from the invading undead.

Hiding from the Zombies in abandoned buildings, they build blockades, set traps and – as a last resort – use weapons to fight.

Key Features:

  • A humoristic gameplay mix of killing zombies and tactical defense.

  • Kill zombies in unusual and entertaining ways: install unique traps, employ devious tactics and fight the intruders with smart bombs and melee weapons.

  • Tactical defense gameplay: defend from zombies by building blockades, gathering resources and switching between all 3 characters.

Nice Work!

Dead block is a game set in the rock n roll era where dance with a cute girl style impala have a car and money to a jukebox was the fashion. But apparently upss rock n roll is iso so famous and heard that even the undead back to life, now Jack Foster, Foxy Jones Mike Bacon and must at all costs Survive the horde of undead will have within your reach several "weapons" as the jukebox, burgers and even your own guitar rig to reassure comesesos. Dead block is a multiplayer experience with zombies not seen before where cooperation is important and the best option is the refuge to fight body classic body. Venture into this story full of horror, action, and ROCK N ROLL!!

Fun, but not a blast.

If only this had co-op...... Passable visuals, decent gameplay (if a bit repetitive, but hey) makes this game worth the money. Just don't expect a knock out of the park. Thing is, this game SCREAMS co-op. I mean you already have an AI follower, if only they had made it so they could be controlled, maybe they wouldn't be so worthless. Pick this up if its on sale, its fun, quirky, and actually difficult at times.

Could be so much better...

...with only one extra feature, which is online multiplayer. Visuals are great if you like this cartoony style, some might bring Stubbs the Zombie to their minds. Gameplay is on the more interesting side of what survival zombie games can be: scavenging for stuff around the (short) level and building/fixing traps around to keep the zombies out (or in certain rooms if things get out of control), while collecting pieces for the final objective. Might get a bit repetitive over time, but that would be less of an issue if you could play with your friends. Overall, a could little zombie game, but sadly no online play will scare many people away.
