In a world of growing xenophobia, Scotsmen living abroad fear for their right to practice their culture. Already, reports are emerging of foreign governments and vigilantes shutting down the haggis factories that were once the lifeblood of local Scottish communities. One Scotsman has the power to stand up to the world. His name is Alfredo.
A humble barman from Northern Scotland, Alfredo rose to prominence when he conquered England, Wales, and Ireland, after the English cricket team and a group of Irish potato farmers trashed his pub. Taking on the whole world however, will not be so easy. So Alfredo gathers together the finest fighting Scotsmen and sets forth in his Bagpipe Airship, on a mission to liberate global Scottish communities, one haggis factory at a time.
OK, so maybe that title is nothing to do with Scotland, but revolution is the aim of the game here. You fight to liberate Scottish communities from a multitude of enemies from across the globe. Still, you'll have to keep the strength of your army to continue fighting, and so this game incorporates resource management to keep the fun fresh. While this game certainly isn't a graphical spectacle, it's still worth a punt.
If you liked Defend the Highlands then you'll enjoy playing this game. It's basically a mixture of tower defense games with real-time strategy done in an interesting way to keep it fresh and entertaining. The game is very fun but I cannot recommend it to everyone, especially those who get easily offended by nationality stereotyping and occasional offensive language. Nevertheless good piece of code.
