Defenders of Ardania: The Conjurer’s Tricks provides a new collection of units, towers and spells that can be used to conquer your opponents. Use new tactics and strategies to outwit the enemies. This collection comes with one new unit, tower and spell for each race.
UNITS - Human - Bomb Cart: A special explosive unit. The Bomb cart is an extremly slow and vulnerable unit, but one or two unit can easily destroys any enemy base. - Nature – Snake: A special unit with the ability to hide. These Snakes are the masters of stealth and cunning. Though weak, they know how to avoid the attention of the towers. The range of an enemy tower is decreased by 30-50 percent when targeting against the Snake. - Underworld – Breeder: A special unit. The breeder is an ancient relic carried by a skeleton. It's slow and vulnerable, an also not too strong, but it can create friendly units from the dust. The created units appears directly next to the breeder.
TOWERS - Human - Watchtower: Special tower, boosts nearby towers.The watchtower increase the nearby, friendly tower's range. It has a very short range. - Nature – Carnivora: Special tower, effective against every unit.The Carnivora is a huge plant trap. Basicly it's passable by any unit, but when a unit walks into it's place, the trap will close, and slowly kills that unit. Whilst the trap is close, the carnivora works like a simple block tower. - Underworld - Hell Gate: Blocking tower, cheap.A simple wall, which blocks the way of any unit, friend or foe. It can be upgraded with hellgate to allow the teleport of friendly units between to a nearby Hellgate. Only two hellgate can be built by one player.
SPELLS - Human – Stasis: The stasis disables any enemy towers from a short time, within it's range. - Nature – Fog: The fog decrease the range of the enemy units and towers for a short time. - Underworld – Invulnerability: This spells makes invulnearble any friendly ground units for a few seconds.
Defender of Ardania is required to play this DLC.

I'm not a big fan of DLC. I don't like the idea of small additional contend and I'm all up for expansions. I hate when they sell us costumes, cheats or something really small that should be in a patch as a DLC. I also haven't really enjoyed the Defenders of Ardania. So it shouldn't be a surprise that I hate The Conjuror's Tricks DLC. I could understand the additional race added before but now its too small addition to the gameplay. Its only for fans that want to experience more of the game or add some more gameplay to the game they really like. Other people should not waste 3$ on this stuff.
The Conjurer's Tricks is a, what we call today, DLC for Defenders of Ardania, but you knew that much. So, what does it add? Conjurer's Tricks adds a new unit, tower and a spell each for human, nature and the underworld. It doesn't improve the gmae in any way, all it does is add a bit of variety, but this COULD HAVE been in the game, in the first place. So, why charge 2$ for something as small as this, that could have been in the game? Why not make something like this a free update? Just another example of milking customers. Not recommended, since it is useless. If it was a free update, it would be a good update, but charging 2$ for 3 new units, towers and spells, is a bit too steep.
I love Defenders of Ardania (I have 50 hours on it) The Conjuror's Tricks DLC is just great and one of the most full of content DLCs I have seen in a huge while. It adds three new units, three new towers and three new spells and it's well worth it. If you liked the base game, get this!
