Farming isn't too exciting, but I suppose that's being a little too unfair. This game has merits on its own. As a simulator game, this game is pretty good. There's a lot to do on the farm, and the vehicles and tools are all handy and handle well. But I soon got bored and didn't stay so much. Still it isn't a bad game. If you're into simulators, this game is definitely for you.
Farming Simulator 2015 is what you would expect, farming. But there is also trees that can be cut so you have a bit more to do. What I absolutely love is that everything has weight to it, as opposed to hardly any from the previous game. You can actually feel the tractor struggle while going up a hill with a full load of agricultural goods. There are a bit more vehicles as well, like a MAN semi-truck with trailer, and a little bit more equipment to play around with. There are 2 maps included, one in the US and another in a Scandinavian setting. Of course the game is moddable so there's endless possibilities. I would recommend this game if you like Farming Simulators or if you are upgrading from 2013. Well worth it!
Farming Simulator has just always been one of those games that captivates your interest, and then you can't just simply put it down. The first time that I heard about this game was when my friend recommended it to me, and that's when I entered the world of digital farming. Honestly, this game, in my opinion, is much better than the 2013 edition in a few ways. The land in which you can farm is MUCH bigger, the graphics are great, they have added new vehicles and tool to the game, and altogether, the game feels fresh and new. It's a pretty cool game.
+ Better graphics + Better physcs (machines slow down in slopes now, and you need to upgrade your machine park if you want t be able to pull the heavier equipment and bale handling seems easier) + Wood harvesting (wich is a common practice for farmers here in the Scandinavia) - Not as many mods as Farming Simulator 2013 as of yet. - Some people have problems with lag in multiplayer game. - Wood harvesting seems to have a lot of bugs at themoment. But these things might be fixed soon.
I've been playing this genre and following this company for many years. They don't make any major "new" games in regards to graphics or gameplay, but this one is certainly an improvement over Farming Sim 2013. Graphics are much crisper, sharper, and controlling the tractors feel much more streamlined in regards to weight and horsepower requirements.
