This game reminded me of the old Monkey Island games, just not as humorous. I love the graphics and theme of the game. Always been big on pirates in video games and though I don't love them like I used to, I do like point and click adventures from time to time. This game never reaches the heights of Monkey Island or Dreamfall, but it is quite engaging and fun. It's very colorful and vibrant, and you will laugh, just not as much as in Monkey Island. The puzzles are simple like in most games of this genre, but that's not a bad thing, as you will find much enjoyment in the conversations and admiring the stunning hand drawn backgrounds. I think this game held up pretty well over time, though I would recommend Monkey Island over it any day, but if you like ghosts, pirates, and point and click adventures, there's really no reason why you wouldn't enjoy Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island.
