If you played the first Hacker Evolution, you get an idea of how it this one might be. Not really the same as the previous one, and it's debatable about which one is better. I guess it's all about opinions in the end. Hacker Evolution isn't a 'real' hacking simulator, of course. Things are more... simplistic. But it does gives you an idea about how hacking works or what code (Sort of. As I said, it's more simplistic) someone could use to do a specific task, though not exactly as it is. Feels like you're a real hacker while you apply all that code and do things in the game. Anyway, Hacker Evolution is here to give you more 'stages' to complete with this new content. Hacker Evolution Immersion, though still in Early Access at Steam, it's possible that can still add or improve some stuff. It could also add more content because it has a short length. There were some other small issues as well, but they can be fixed (and some have already been fixed). The game is interesting, don't get me wrong. So, as I said, if you played the first one, you kind of know what you could expect, though it's not exactly the same, of course. I don't know if you will find it boring or not, maybe it's not your cup of tea. You use 'code' to do specific tasks and you follow a 'story'. Check out the demo available at Steam or gameplay videos if you want to find out more. Last but not least, it can't really be compared with Hacknet, as both of them have big differences. I would recommend to start with the first Hacker Evolution game and then try out this one. My rating for Hacker Evolution Immersion: 79/100
