Reviews for HITMAN™ Episode 2 - Sapienza

It just gets better!

Episode 2 surpasses the high bar that was set in Episode 1's Paris. This time we get a visually superb seaside town. With an even bigger map and more fun, I've spent most of my time so far on Episode 2

Missions don't feel like missions

The missions don't feel like missions. This is the second mission yet it feels as if it's an open world game. Sapienza is a beautiful map and theres a ton of options on how to complete your objectives. I've yet to exhaust the list of methods to do so. One thing I didn't expect was the transition from above ground to an underground map. The game runs and plays fun on my i5 4690k, r9 280x and i've yet to lag unlike the first episode.

Even better than the first mission

HITMAN Episode 2: Sapienza gets you the second mission of the game and it gives you an interesting and very different setting. The first mission offered you a rather large location in Paris the second mission takes you to an even larger and more open location set in a coastal town in Italy. This new area as very enjoyable to explore, both to take in the sites and to see yourself in a more relaxed location that you don't normally find 47 in, and also to come up with a variety of options to infiltrate the villa, and its underground lab, where your two targets are. The first mission was good and this one is even better, hopefully the remaining missions are as good as this.

Beautiful episode.

I don't remember many games where I spend my time walking around, just for fun and to see how beautiful things are. See the screenshots above? Those don't lie. Italy in HITMAN: Episode Two is just beautiful. The whole map is huge, you will find yourself having more fun than in previous one. This episode have lots of replayability. Also, if you had a performance problems those are gone, at least for me. That's what we should expect from new HITMAN game and hope the quality of next episodes will be as high as this one.
