Okay, I've been waiting months and months for this game to come out, and... Finally! I'm so glad because I wanted to see what had happened (I haven't finished it yet but I'm close to it.) The story is catchy; you're a detective who has to investigate a village, which is literally in the middle of nowhere. And, as you're surrounded by snow, you must look for items and some other things to "survive" the freezing cold. Also, you have to see what happened there and look for clues all around the place. Thoughts and reality are always connected, and this helps you to understand the story. The atmosphere is amazing, I really like this kind of games where you're all alone even though you feel like somebody is out there watching you. I loved the voice of the narrator, some sort of Johnny Cash (it perfectly fits.) Graphics are dope. The game itself reminded me of The Long Dark, but it has its uniqueness. The only "bad" thing I could say is that I have experienced a few crashes, especially near Lamothe's Garage. Just there. Soooo, I'd totally recommend this game. It's worth a try.
Kona is a survival game during the 70's in the Canadian wilderness. You play as Carl, who got into a car crash. You've to figure out what happened to yourself before you freeze to death. This game surprised me, to say the least! The visuals are gorgeous, the wind, paw prints etc. really give this game a nice atmosphere. The soundtrack is also really good, it's creepy but in a good way, the only thing I've noticed that sometimes if you use for example dynamite the sound can be a few seconds of. The plot of the game is pretty simplistic but it kept me interested and so far I've put 10+ hours into the game. I do recommend this game. The game is almost perfect except the sound issue but I've sure this will be patched later.
