Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite is the fourth game in the Marvel vs Capcom series. Single player involves a lot of dull fights with multiple generic enemies (sometimes two at a time which the game clearly isn't made for), has characters that aren't playable or fight-able with some to be added as DLC. Poor story, with some amusing moments. Horrible load times between single player fights, loading normal fights, online fights, going through some menus. Ugly recent SF style art, nowhere near as detailed as Injustice/MK or as good looking as 2D fighters, dull and emotionless. One of the worst tutorials I've seen, made even worse by separating things into categories that each have to be loaded separately. Low number of characters and modes, doesn't even let you replay sections of the story. Some odd character choices, only different color options for characters without any costume changes. The online mode was mostly dead when I was looking. The Deluxe Edition is going to add some of the characters that appeared in the single player campaign but that weren't playable like a Monster Hunter woman, Sigma, and Black Panther. New characters are a good addition but it's a high additional price for how little content is available in the base game.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is considerably good fighting games, and it's also a crossover which interests both Marvel and Capcom fans to the game, as a fans of either of these 2 worlds you can pick your favorite character from a big roster and enjoy the game with a fresh and unique gameplay with delightful visuals and sounds, well designed controls and the combo system like any other fighting titles of Capcom is implemented in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite too, and you can fill up your gauge and smash your opponent to the space! if you're looking for a real good and impressive story in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, I must say you will be disappointed, and instead I suggest you get Injustice 2 if you want a real good story! Overall this game is not at its best potentials and still needs to receive patches and updates with more characters and animations which I really hope the Devs do so and don't leave it, but I can recommend this to every fighting games fans and I'm sure you will enjoy it!
