Descend into a world of darkness to find the shards of the Aurora Stone and restore light to the Driftlands. Wield powers of light as each level challenges your skill & lightning response in this modern adventure built upon the time- honoured mechanics of classic platformers. Each puzzle with your reaction speed will delve you further into this dark tale ... but beware ... Mavro the Lord Of Shadows has a few surprises in store for you.
Oscura: Lost Light is the prequel to the previous two titles in the franchise, the Webby Award winning Oscura and Oscura: Second Shadow.
Oscura: Lost Light is a game I originally knew form Android device. As for PC port, it is still a nice game, although hard at times, perhaps too frequent, you have to repeat one part of the level and it starts to get annoying. The mechanics of using crystals is interesting. Unfortunately, you can sometimes encounter bugs through which you have to repeat the whole level and this can drive you mad.
This is simply put, a brilliant 2D platforming game. Every single aspect of this game is brilliantly crafted and well polished and I really enjoyed playing through its storyline. The graphics in this game are gorgeous and the backgrounds and colors are very impressive. The graphics are accompanied by an awesome sound track which helps to set the scene and adds to the overall polish that this game has. The game play is fairly typical of platforming games but it is very fun to play. I highly recommend this game to those who enjoy platforming games.
