Might and Delight invites you to step into the world of Shelter 2 in a standalone adventure set in a fairytale world. This is Paws!
Dark and grime, twist through the vines Slip through perils with finesse and toil Be two for strength, be two of mind Find the way home to familiar soil.
Paws is a tale of two halves and sees you traverse the dark and dank surroundings of an enchanted land as you try to fend off dangers, whilst overcoming the daunting sprawling landscape you encounter as you try to make your way home.
The game combines all the unique elements from the much loved Shelter series to present a lovingly crafted story about loss, friendship and a search for lost love.
A gripping linear experience in a fantasy setting.
For the first time ever in the Shelter world, you play as a young cub accompanied by a companion to help complete puzzles and overcome obstacles in the world.
New game play features include the ability to follow tracks using your sense ability.
A whole new corner of the world to explore with platforming game mechanics at its core.
New original music from Retro Family.
Paws: A Shelter 2 Game is the third Shelter game, the first had to playing as a badger taking care of her children and the second had you playing as a Linx doing the same, this time you play as one of the cubs. The second game made the world larger and open, the setting for Paws uses the more linear gameplay of the first title. Being a cub, you are not able to run as fast or jump as high as you could in the previous game but you do befriend a young bear who can help you get through obstacles and whose back you can jump off of to reach higher up places. The AI for the bear isn't that good and it can get stuck on objects easily. You can also sneak up on and eat small prey and you will need to do some platforming throughout the game. This is not a game about survival but about telling a story, death will just take you back to the last checkpoint. The game is short, about an hour and a half, but it does have two different endings to obtain. The game isn't really for me and may not be as much for fans of the last two Shelter games depending on what they play them for.
