I prefer the ACTUAL experience, however it does it's job. It simulates Professional Cycling. It is an interesting take for a first timer. Outside of that however it can lose it's charm quickly. Pick it up if you really want to check it out or try something new.
My friend recommended this game to me, and honestly, it wasn't quite what I was expecting. It WAS fun, but it seemed to get quite repetitive and old fast. I played it for a little while, but after about 5-10 hours of gameplay, I moved back to my other games. The graphics were VERY good, and the gameplay mechanics were quite decent as well, but the game just couldn't hold my attention span for very long. Maybe if I was more into real life cycling I would find this game more fun, but I probably won't be picking up this game again any time soon.
Lance Armstrong approves. Jokes aside, this game is deceptive. It may seem easy but rather than playing as a race participant, you will serve as the manager who must properly recruit and organize your racer to win. The major strengths of Pro Cycling Manager 2015 is its almost unmatched realism and environment. It reflects real life and arguably, the best method to gain full enjoyment is to analyze well and implement a good strategy to maintain your fiances. In the end, feeling victorious is like adding a cherry on top of a well deserved dessert. Even if you do not win, it is still pleasant to the eye to observe a race in changing landscapes with the sun in the background. It would be beneficial if the biker you created could be controlled in third/first person and be able to actually participate in the race. I understand the purpose of the game is to be a manager of the race, not be a participant, but the game lacks sufficient replay value and can become boring after a few tries. This game may not be for everyone but if you enjoy games that feature management, then Pro Cycling Manager 2015 is a good choice.
