As you would expect, Project Cars 2 is a vast improvement over the first title and a very good game in general. Besides the many new cars, the tracks have also become more beautiful. If on PC 1 you may have sometimes felt that certain tracks were created with matchbox cars in mind, in PC2 you definitely have the feeling that you're driving on the tracks with a real car. The backgrounds are also somewhat superior to the ones in PC 1. Even though I have not used all of the cars so far, I can say they feel very genuine. The handling feels like it really fits (though I've never run a real race so I do not know how it feels in real life), The AI is also better than the previous version. This makes it possible to drive harder and closer races, where the opponents don't have the advantage most of the time already after the first turn. This makes the game more difficult, but in this case it's a good thing. Even though I had to restart a few races, there was no frustration involved. The UI in the game has also become much better. For example, the race invitation events aren't nearly as dependant on the season calendar as before. So you can drive invitation events when you want and it's restricted by its season calendar as with the previous game. A clear advantage to part 1, as a racing season can be extremely long and annoying. On a different note, the menu is very well implemented. One can find the right tuning for a car very quickly, as long as they have know how to search for it. Another novelty is that you do not have to be a tuning expert to make changes to the vehicle. For this, there is now an engineer, who optimizes the car by asking you simple questions. Compared to its predecessor, the HUD does not look overclustered, and you really have everything you need to see in view. If you are not satisfied with the layout of the elements, you can rearrange them as you like. All in all, a successful and worthy successor! If you're into racing games, Project Cars 2 is just a must buy!
Some sim racing titles are actually harder than driving a real car on track because they spend a huge amount of time on a realistic tyre and physics model, without considering that the player doesn't have any of the sensations that they would have in a real car. Too much realism without the visual cues and physical feedback a driver gets from the steering wheel (and seat of their pants) isn't fun. This game is fun. It is not arcade or simcade, it's a simulator with the right amount of realism in the right places.
Project CARS 2 delivered everything which was promised before it's release. The game is one of the top racing games of 2017 which has great visuals and physics, the controls are very smooth and also the customization which makes the gameplay very enjoyable. Stunning weather effects makes Project CARS 2 even more beautiful and some times you can't see the difference between reality or just a game! This is a very good sequel for Project CARS and if you like to challenge your driving skills do not hesitate to get this game. Project CARS 2 is right here for you!
Project CARS was one of the best racing game in current generation that was able to earn high scores. But Project CARS 2, even more better than first version, I'm claiming that the game will give you a realistic sense of the racing game in the most beautiful, most realistic, and most advanced game in terms of technology. There are more than 170 cars of the most prominent brands, the largest number of tracks between all current titles, including the special ice and dirt paths, all kinds of categories and vehicles, including Rally Cross, dynamic weather and seasonal conditions that have just been added to this series, the new online championship mode, the dynamic track level of LiveTrack 3.0, which affects vehicle control and handling, and results in major changes on the weekend of the tournament. Also you can find advanced artificial intelligence and special gaming control in this game. Pros: - The gameplay and performance has improved overally - Excellent day and night cycle - Good Variaty of competition - Better support on Gamepad - Cars engine sound are great Cons: - Weakness af Al in some positions - On the snowy or dirty road, cars leave no signs - There are still some bugs in the game
Project CARS 2 is a long awaited sequel to a driving game that had taken the racing market by storm, second part continues the glorious tradition of amazing the users. It is bigger and better, we have more car and a new dynamic weather system, the only thing that is causing the problems is the physics but that is a minor complaint. Great sequel.
