Community Scoop

Blurring the lines between Television and Video Games, Quantum Break's presentation isn't what we're used to in most AAA titles, instead we are treated to 20 minutes of live-action footage in between playable sections, which means that you have a lovely little tea break after intense gunfights and story exposition ready for the main event.

Gameplay itself is satisfying and everything you'd expect from a typical third-person story based game. With the added star power and facial capture from actors, the game is virtually indistinguishable from the live-action segments that you're able to watch. Its unconventional structure makes the game worth playing in itself, so why not get stuck in and get ready to play (and watch) Quantum Break! Its PC release is very welcome.

Great story and interesting setting.

I am very interested in the topic of travel in time and I really liked the realization of this topic in QB. The tragic outcome of experiments with time travel is an interesting setting for this game. The game offers a really interesting story that could easily inspire some new HBO or Netflix hit. I really have fun playing this action packed title. The only downside for me was a cheap final boss that can and will annoy you!

Time is fleeting

Quantum Break will be considered as the best single-player Xbox One console in several directions. From a deep and engaging narrative, proper characterization to engaging gameplay, eye-catching visual graphics and lighting, and its well-designed serial. However, I think the technical drawbacks and design shortcomings of the Quantum Break look as if the builders did not spend much time on detail. It's right that the process of making this game lasted for many years and in general brought a memorable experience, but it could have been much better. Doing this game will be awesome for the first time, but it does not seem to make much interest in multiplying it on the player. Except for the additions or completions of its achievements. The game will be awesome for the first time, but it does not seem to make much interest in repeating it in the player. Except for the incident or completing its achievements. Quantum Break is a new title to experience on the Xbox One console and Windows 10 , but do not expect to face a masterpiece.

Unique and fun game!

The game play was fun and unique. The time mechanics were great, even if the platforming was a touch clunky. The story was fantastic! I don't typically get way into game stories, but this game had me searching for more information on computers and scanning everywhere to get every bit of information that I could find. I also find that stories involving time travel typically feel convoluted, but this was well written. The story and combat were both great! I really enjoyed the mix of game and film and thought they complimented each other well. This is such a unique game that you shouldn't pass up if you enjoy fun and interesting stories with great characters and fun, unique combat.

Then and now

From max Payne to this? They must of hire new writers because this was like watching 12 monkeys, after a late night of drinking and you think the cheese spoiled. The alternate timeline(s) and causing ripples in time is interesting, however if you allow Jack's brother to add the formula....nothing changes. The story on how a group of certain individuals team up, to fight monarch's reach in humanities very door step that keep our families safe. But when time is going to stop? And Only one man can stop it? Only you can be the judge on the consequences of your actions, how ever sometimes sacrificing the few for the many comes to light. Is it to hide the truth or to protect someone else?

Not Bad but not interesting

Quantum Break is the lastest game from Max Payne's developpers Remedy Entertainment. In this game we play as Jack Joyce, a man who happened to gain the power to control time itself and who is in war with an evil organisation that is trying to use the very same power to its own benefit. The story is nice but unfortunately didn't develop a lot of ideas out of it. Actually, Quantum Break is your average shooter with all the genre's cliches and Jack's powers are just gimmicks you've already seen before in other games. It's not a bad game but don't expect it to be a groundbreaking experience.
