Resources are sparse. The world is infinite and unknown. The universe is lonely, open and unforgiving.
You're drifting, in a big, empty and silent space. Searching for a new home. You know a few coordinates to some random locations; but this is the only information you got.
RymdResa is a challenging and evolving space adventure, based on randomness, with RPG elements. Abstract poetry and art are expressed throughout a lonesome and calm journey in space.

The universe is lonely, open and unforgiving, but that doesn't mean it isn't peaceful. We have tried to create a place for relaxation and beauty.
Procedural World
The world is infinite and different every time you play, with over 300 different objects to discover and explore; like planets, stars and spaceships.
Randomized Loot
There is a large amount of different item types you can find to enhance your ship. These are randomized. Try to get legendary items!
Ship Customization
There are 8 ships in RymdResa. Every ship has in total 8 item slots, whereof 2 are unlockable. You can find different styles, auras, engines and other improvements.
Pilot Level
Level up to become a master pilot! Choose orientation, focus on exploring, scouring, survival or technology.
Upgrades
Discover a set of several different upgrades, like researches and different worlds enhancements; why not for example unlock the shield as an item type or see moons in space?
3 Chapters
RymdResa is an evolving space adventure. Each chapter has unique gameplay and a unique narrative. Chapter 3 is set in a new universe!
Beautiful Art
Poetry, peace and art. Explore and enjoy a big set of visuals, crafted with RymdResa's art style; pixelart mixed with a posterized style combined with a strict color pallet.
Original Soundtrack
Every ship has a custom soundtrack enhancing the world around it. Two musicians: Tom Croke and Pat Jacobs created the soundtrack with their vision of the game.
Voiced Story
A poetic voice log from the pilot describing a great loss, xir thoughts and feelings. Abstract fragments discussing xir past, present and future.
Nonviolent
We didn't want to create yet another space-shooter, with laser-beams and exploding aliens. In RymdResa the game play is peaceful, passive and relaxing.

To say it shortly, that's how RymdResa feel like while playing. You have only one life, every time start at begin and it's real time gameplay. RymdResa have fantastic and climatic music, minimalistic yet beautiful graphics and fun to discover space. It's really random, and like in FTL, one time you will get lucky and manage to reach some further places and events. To be honest, this is already more than half year old yet it didn't gained so much on popularity like mentioned FTL. That's too bad, since RymdResa is really worth playing. Let's hope it will change at some kind of sale.

RymResa is a Rogue-like that takes inspiration from 2001 : A Space Odyssey. You control a tiny spaceship (Eight are available with different characteristics) during three chapters. Finding space probes, searching for materials to colonize a planet, looking for a strange monolith, those are your task. The procedural world of RymResa is a pretty pixel art space void with a nice atmosphere. There are some RPG elements (loot, quests) but not much. It's a Rogue-like so be prepared to see the game over screen and restart the game a lot. However, your progression is always saved. It's a good little game that lacks replay-value
