The Star Fox team triumphantly returns to one of its greatest missions with the remake of Star Fox 64 in full 3D. The entire Star Fox universe spreads out realistically into the depths of the Nintendo 3DS top screen while the 3D visuals give the player a clearer grasp of distance and position. This makes the game more approachable and intuitive, thereby allowing players to focus on the action.
Star Fox 64 3D also puts the two screens of the Nintendo 3DS system to use, with the top screen featuring 3D gameplay and the bottom screen displaying the various characters and their dialogue.

Thrilling new features up the Star Fox mania
The new Score Attack Mode allows the player to revisit any planet and play for a high score on that level.
Star Fox was a great series and idea that got put into back burner, because it was under appreciated and the reason for that was length. Nobody wants to shell out 40 pounds/40-60 dollars or whatever currency, full price for a game for home console that lasts for one or two hours. Here, the issue is somewhat fixed, because this game is perfect in short bursts and it feels like it was designed from the beginning for handheld instead of N64. Graphics for 3DS are good, sound is also fine, gameplay is good old flying and shooting with ships or submarines (sadly, worst part of the game). If you enjoyed it back in the day and don't like the hassle of plugging N64, it's perfect pick. If you never played Star Fox in your life, what are you waiting for? It's as good of a starting point as any Star Fox game except Adventures and Zero. It's really fun series and if you like space shooters, you most play this game, because if you didn't play it, you're missing out on great, although little short, game.
