Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Saga is a really good RTS and one of the first games that I often played online. With the expansion the game has eight different factions, they all play in a similar way but each has unique units and things that are special about them. The Gungans can deploy mobile shield generators and build underwater population buildings, the Trade Federation doesn't need to build structures to increase their population count, each faction can also have passive bonuses like the Empire getting cheaper ships and heavy mech upgrades. There are eight different campaigns, although the Naboo forces do not get their own, only appearing in the campaigns of others, the Wookies get a tutorial scenario and a later short campaign. Campaigns aren't that long, usually only consisting of about six or seven missions but they are varied thanks to the different factions and heroes. The game had a lot of interesting player made maps such as races, RPG like levels where everyone would control one hero character and could level up as they fought through the map or found hidden equipment and characters, senate maps where everyone was given "planet" and would meet in a neutral middle area, Coruscant, to discuss treaties and wars. The games are enjoyable in single player, skirmish, and multiplayer and you can still find some interesting player creations online.
