Might and Delight invites you to step into an interactive diorama that expands on the world of Paws and Shelter 2. Welcome to The Lonesome Fog!
The Lonesome Fog is a living book that seeks to expand on the concept of storytelling and explores the plight of a young cub trapped in a cycle of fear, cowardice and uncertainty.
What becomes of you when you let fear dictate the way you live your life?
The roughly twenty page living book hopes to uncover that.

The Lonesome Fog is a pop-up book with all the amenities that a computer can offer: scrolling layers, animated backgrounds, and a soothing soundtrack. This is a game that is a supplement to the Shelter story, so if you love that one then you might want to give this one a look. Otherwise, if you have a young child to entertain this is a good and deserving use of a bit of their and your time.
The Lonesome Fog is not so much a game as it is a pop-up book that you view on your computer. If you are looking for your media to be any more interactive than what you'd get with one of those, you might want to steer clear. However, if you have small children to share it with, it could be a good way to spend some time. The scrolling effects are satisfying and the music is nice and calming. The art style, while crisp and deliberate, might not be to everyone's liking, but a quick look at the available screenshots is a good representation of what you'll be seeing. It seems harsh to give such a low score for what is obviously a success in what they're trying to accomplish, but unfortunately what they're trying to accomplish is likely not to most videogamers' tastes. However, if you or someone you know is in the target audience for pop-up books, consider giving this digital version a try.
