Game description

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is part of the acclaimed first-person shooter franchise developed by the renowned Ubisoft Montreal studio.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege invites players to master the art of destruction. Intense close quarters confrontations, high lethality, tactics, team play, and explosive action are at the center of the experience. The gameplay sets a new bar for intense firefights and expert strategy in the rich legacy of past Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six games.

Key Features

THE SIEGE GAMEPLAY

For the first time in Rainbow Six, players will engage in sieges, a brand-new style of assault. Enemies now have the means to transform their environments into strongholds: they can trap, fortify, and create defensive systems to prevent breach by Rainbow teams.

To face this challenge, players have a level of freedom unrivaled by any previous Rainbow Six game. Combining tactical maps, observation drones, and a new rappel system, Rainbow teams have more options than ever before to plan, attack, and diffuse these situations.

COUNTER TERRORIST UNITS

Counter terrorist operatives are trained to handle extreme situations, such as hostage rescue, with surgical precision. As “short range” specialists, their training is concentrated on indoor environments. Operating in tight formations, they are experts of close quarter combat, demolition, and coordinated assaults. Rainbow Six Siege will include operators coming from five of the most worldwide renowned CTU: the British SAS, the American SWAT, the French GIGN, the German GSG9 and the Russian SPETSNAZ.

These Operators are specialists with their own expertise within Siege operations. Each has their own unique personality & specialty. Some are focused on assault where as others are defense-oriented. They can be combined within the same team to create new team strategies.

PROCEDURAL DESTRUCTION

Destruction is at the heart of the siege gameplay. Players now have the unprecedented ability to destroy environments. Walls can be shattered, opening new lines of fire, and ceiling and floors can be breached, creating new access points. Everything in the environment reacts realistically, dynamically, and uniquely based on the size and caliber of bullets you are using or the amount of explosives you have set. In Rainbow Six Siege, destruction is meaningful and mastering it is often the key to victory.

DESTRUCTION, DESTRUCTION AND MORE DESTRUCTION

Tom Clancy's Rainbow six siege a game of Ubisoft Montreal is the game that we did not expect from Ubisoft is a massive Online where you defend a special point or destroy a special point, with different classes, skins and others. If I have to talk about the game I have to say that I love the phases where we attack, because it gives me the freedom to destroy what I want, climb the walls to get me through broken windows or even to fight as a sniper, the amount of DLCS and weapons that are can buy is awesome, sincerely Ubisoft did a great job with the game and hopefully keep doing it with more constant updates.

Rainbow Six: Siege is really an enjoyable experience.

The moment you join the game servers, everything is provided for you to enjoy Rainbow Six: Siege. The game provides everything you need to entertain with it and make you entertained for hours . When you enter a tournament, you will notice that other players are in there with plans and they play with complete synchronization and cooperative sense and also there are some single player training missions in the game and should thank the creators by placing such a part in the game which prepares all the players for a better game experience. You can not say that there is nothing negative about the game experience, but the Rainbow Six: Siege is a title which there's inly few similar games like it, and will give you a different experience. Despite the depth of the gameplay and its strategic nature, the game separates its path from other games of the day and simply does not leave a tedious process "kill and move on" ahead of you. Extremely destructive environments is one of the positive aspects of the game and it also affects gameplay. It's worth noting that Rainbow Six Siege will not be a good idea for everyone, but if you want a game in which you have to plan for every single moment you're playing, this game has been made for you. In Rainbow Six: Siege, you are the one who determines how to play. You have complete freedom to choose your game, and Rainbow Six: Siege, in spite of some of its disadvantages, is really an enjoyable experience.

I wish I could Hate it...

One of the best. A purely fun game that anyone can get into. Rainbow six siege is an extremely fun tactical shooter that takes some skill, timing, knowledge and courage. I would say this is not the type of game for people that go all guns blazing, running without thought or consideration of what to do, but a slower paced, tactical team game. Lots of fun and I just can't stop playing. I would recommend it to anyone and the community are usually very good. However, despite the recent Operation health many bugs are still present, not just glitches. At a end of game, very rarely but still annoyingly, my team would get no XP or renown despite getting scores of 3000+ (casual). This is obviously annoying as you've earnt it. However, operation health is not over, so they might address this issue. If they don't however, i wouldn't let it put you off the game as it is, as said, very rare. I would also like to mention not to get the starter edition as the amount of time it takes to unlock an operator is way too long.

Great Tactical Shooter with Some Flaws

JaCoBReaper

This is has been quite a ride with Rainbow Six Siege since it was released in December 2015. It's gone from unplayable to almost playable online. The support team has been good with communication on updates and fixes and answers a lot of questions/concerns on their forum. UPdates are monthly and address most of the issues. The ongoing issue is the hit registration and accuacy of the kill cam. This leaves the game in a frustrating position...it's fun to play until you start running into lag, hit reg issues and garbabe team mates. There isn't much of a single player other than training in ten missions. I don't mind this as I don't get a game for its single player. Training is easy and straight foward, but you don't need it to get online. Most of the maps are fun to play with the exception of a few. Weapons are somewhat balanced now, but you'll find your obvious favorites after playing the game a while. Overall a really fun game if you can get some friends on and play together. They are still working out the netcode and hit registration issues as well glitches every now and then. Cheaters were prominent on the PC but they've been releasing anti cheat technology. With constant support and updates, I see this game growing even more by the end of the year and into the next year with their release of season two content.

Good Game, Terrible Community

MainReaper6666

If you played beta then you realise that the net code was bad. Like almost non existent. Now it is much better. They've fixed a lot of performance issues and patched their code. The same goes for anti-cheat system as they've made some changes and now their population is thinner. Be in love with this fps Seriously, I thought that it was a bit of a mistake to buy this game but after 15 hrs it still was very amusing and even I was surprised about it. That this game even if it is just a multiplayer may have some charm in itself. The shooting model is very nice and it might reassemble a CoD in some way. Moving around is very fluent, smooth and the destructions are always nice and they do not posses any fps drop risk which is nice. All in all, there is nothing wrong with the game as fps, what's more, I think that it is a pretty good shooter if you would compare it to other games with a lot of dakka like CoD, KF 2, BF 4 etc. Meet one of the most toxic communities which are still existing Just as the headline says. I pretty sure that R6 siege has one of the most toxic communities right next to the CS:GO, LoL and DotA. And it got worse after skull rain update as a lot of old players (lvl 100+) came back. It reassemble a pretty much terrible fandom with only teenagers (10-16 yrs) in it. On the bronze and silver you will meet peoples flaming constantly when someone is better than them and on the rest you will meet old players who brag that they're great and you're playing bad. Don't listen to them, they yet have to learn that you will meet a lot of players in matchmaking and the ranking system doesn't always work right. Or they just have to find their missing chromosomes or anything else, like life. Break up This game is getting less amusing with time as every other game is but in this case I believe that I got tired of it not because you're playing again and again on the same map with the same spots and the same characters but because I got tired of the community. At this point I cannot recommend the game because of the community which is seriously bad. At the beginning it was even amusing as the people would cry just because they were killed but now...now it's just predictable and dull. If you have a pre-made team, or few peoples with who you could play it, then buy it. If not, then I do not recommend this game.
