On earth everything is bad, people fled or died. Their place was taken by the plants. Our hero is a young tomato that makes money by destroying monsters. In fact, it is much more difficult, but there will be spoilers. Vegetables, meat and family values.
This game is incredibly self-aware. Developers knew it was bad and the only value this game has is only to have a great laugh with your friends or give them nightmare fuel, because characters look incredibly creepy. If you expect excellence or a fix of your need for tomatos, watch Attack of the Killer Tomatoes instead. It won't be as painful.
Tomato Way is a first person shooter/melee game where you control a tomato fighting against things like onions. The games a bit of a mess graphic wise with walls just falling down when they are meant to explode, enemies being chopped in half in an opening terrible looking cutscene and then part of the body getting stuck to the character as he slides away. Mouse sensitivity is very high and there aren't options to change that or the volume. Combat opens with you fighting with a fork, a sledgehammer, and a shotgun, they work which is more than you can say for a lot of games like this but aren't that fun to use. The game's voice work is in Ukrainian but has subtitle and interface support for English and other languages but some things aren't translated or are translated poorly. Only worth paying the low price for if you want to experience how strange it is.
