To celebrate War for the Overworld’s second anniversary we’ve bundled together more content than you can shake a Skarg at: base game, Underlord Edition extras, Heart of Gold expansion, My Pet Dungeon DLC, Crucible DLC.
This anniversary collection of War for the Overworld contains all of the DLC released for the game. Main game itself is a pretty good recreation and spiritual successor to Dungeon Keeper, a franchise that is sadly long gone. Good graphics and soundtrack, with great, good old Dungeon Keeper 2 gameplay. As for DLC, Heart of Gold is really good, adding new levels that are just as good, or maybe in some aspects even better, than in vanilla version of the game. It also can last from 4 to 7 hours, which is not bad. My Pet Dungeon is really bad title, since it is getting confused with the mode from Dungeon Keeper, which already is in the main version of the game, but it isn't. It is basically a sandbox mode of the main game, so if you were running out of time in the main game, it is great addition, since you decide when enemies attack and when the game ends. As for Crucible DLC, it is small challenge arena mode with 6 new stages that is given away for free with the game itself, pretty good, just not as good as other two. Overall, it is a great package for pretty solid game - if you miss the days of Dungeon Keeper, you absolutely must pick this one up. Strongly recommended.
