Role Overview:

We are looking for a new Executive Vice President of Finance to lead a team reporting to the CFO. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in order to build strong relationships with key stakeholders as are strong team management skills. Should have experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior management and the board members. Must be proactive, well organised and an ability to adapt as the business changes is critical.

Role Responsibilities
  • Management and oversight of royalty reporting process to over 700 publishing partners
  • Manage the month end process, prepare board packs, including analysis of budget variances, review of subsidiary results and onward reporting of the results to the Board/investors and banks
  • Involvement in the commercial decision-making process of the business and play a pivotal role in any corporate activity including M&A or other strategic moves
  • Lead the annual Audit process and produce the group IFRS Statutory Accounts and subsidiary UK GAAP accounts
  • Manage the taxation affairs of the group, including annual Corporation tax computations (UK and US), prepare the Group R&D tax claim, UK and overseas VAT filings and PAYE etc
  • Manage the UK compliance process including shareholder filings, share option plans and Insurance policies
  • Work with CFO in generating the Annual Budget and reforecasting
  • Manage the monthly payroll process, including liaising with external payroll provider Invoicing and debtor management
  • Cashflow forecasting on annual and weekly basis
  • Review of monthly royalty costs, stock management, capitalisation of costs
  • Other ad-hoc duties required by the business from time to time
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with a minimum of 8 years PQE
  • Sage Line 50 and Looker experience is useful
  • Experience of working within an e-commerce business, particularly digital retail and/or having a good understanding of the entertainment market (games even better) is highly desirable

Role overview

Green Man Gaming Publishing are growing fast and we have some ambitious plans. We are looking to move on to console and to bring bigger, bolder and more ambitious games to the market. This in turn means greater expectations and higher targets. To help us reach our goals, we now require an experienced Product Marketing Manager.

    • Create and implement the launch strategy, lifecycle and vision for each our of games, globally.
    • Define the vision, brand identity, product positioning and target audience.
    • Drive product launches, including working with other GMG teams and executives
    • Be the evangelist for all our games, ensuring that both the vision and strategy is translated across all communications, materials, promotions and departments.
    • Significant Product Marketing experience working on digital PC and/or Console games and bringing them to a global audience.
    • Experience of managing external agencies and man management.
    • An excellent understanding of the video games eco-system, product landscape and market trends.
    • Capable of creating viable and effective launch strategies and presenting them to key stake holders throughout Green Man Gaming.
    • Comfortable working with international partners.

    • Additional language skills would be a bonus.
      • A minimum of 5 years of relevant Product Market (or similar) experience in video games.
