Consisting of The Berserkers and The Raiders, the For Honor Viking class are a passionate, headstrong faction caught up in the war that started hundreds of years ago between Samurais and Knights.
The Vikings vanished into the rumbling seas, thought to have perished in battle at the hands of The Knights. They have returned as the masters of the waters to claim their homeland in the North: Valkeinheim. Now cohabiting in the Frozen Tundra, their clan is ruptured by a state of civil war. As they come together to fight their enemies, we delve into what it means to be Viking in the For Honor story.
The Raider
Found at the front of battle, they are defining the hack in this hack and slash game. Mirroring their wildness, The Raider sports tribal tattoos and plenty of leather, embodying the raw bravery and unstoppable intent in tearing down foes.
Their weapon of choice is a large, heavy axe, which is perfect for high damage attacks. The Raiders’ strong build slows them down, if you ever get close enough to strike them.
The Berserker
Driven more by sheer madness and with an appetite for battle, The Berserkers won’t hold back when it comes to their savage love of war. A relentless character, which strikes us as being at the centre of the Viking’s civil war.
With little regard for personal safety, The Berserker has ditched the armour and instead goes in for the kill. They are an intimidating presence, with special abilities including charging attacks and being able to attack multiple enemies. They use two Viking Hand Axes, which makes The Berserker lighter than The Raiders and able to move quicker to master short range attacks.
The Warlords
The backbone of the Knights, Warlords earned their place in the army, with their resilience and loyalty. They are simple, yet brutal, cutting down all those that stand in their way and cause harm to their Knight family.
They lead the charge with a heavy shield, defending their people with short range blows and hands on fighting. They have mastered a Gladius, a sharp, cut throat weapon, that wields alongside their defensive blocks.
The Valkyrie
The Valkyrie stalk their victims using their scouting and tracking skills and then finish them off with pinpoint precision using their sharp and deadly spear. They are deeply religious and have made a deal with the Gods and fight for glory, undisturbed by the thought of death.
