Amazing game

Grand strategy games are very difficult to be good. This is one of the good games! The huge battles are incredible, they really have the feeling that movies like Braveheart transpass. The open world is very interesting to explore and the different factions offer a great number of challenges and multiple playthroughs. And, last but not least, an absurd number of MODS! Yes, the modding community is very active and there's always excellent and very interesting new mods to play. Buy Mount & Blade: Warband now!

Amazing

This game is just amazing, finally a game that satifies me for what I love about medieval history and for anybody who loves medieval history then this is a game for you! At this price you are getting a VERY VERY long single player with the addition of multiplayer which is just as fun.

The Singleplayer: Each single player is different as you can choose which faction you want to be with, but with each faction you will make enemies and gain new friends and just watch out for those pirates! With its extreme battles on horse back using crossbows, bow and arrows, swords and axes to throwing daggers and spears it is ap leasure to play over and over!

The Multiplayer: Mental fun! this is all I can say, you can have 50 vs 50 medieval fun, and what fun it is, storming castles, using ladders and seige weapons!

On a side note, I wish they would come out with an updated game using Trebuchets and to be a little more gpraphics, but other than this, pure genius game!

So much freedom!

Great medieval-themed game set in a fantasy world named Calradia. Regions vary from cold snowlands to hot deserts. Take part in huge battles. Choose from many weapons from swords to crossbows and armors from simple farmer suit to heavy metal armor. Help a kingdom to onquer other kingdoms, or even form your own kingdom. It's up to you who you will be in this game, whether you want to be a peaceful trader, a mighty knight, an evil raider or a king controlling the whole Calraida. This game also features a multi-player feature, but that is pretty much just a battle mode and not as fun as single player, but still fun enough to keep you busy.

Fantastic, great mod community that extends the game

Mount and Blade: Warband is an excellent upgrade to its predecessor, and features an engaging campaign that will easily occupy you for 20 or 30+ hours on one playthrough, depending on what you choose to do. The replay potential is huge, and its basically open ended. It features huge battles in vast, open landscapes like deserts, fields, valleys and forests. The huge amount of mods out there extend the game a lot. Especially multiplayer gains from the mods, as there are brilliant multiplayer additions out there. My favorite being C-RPG, featuring an persistent experience where you level up your character and buy new gear from gold gained from playing online and winning battles on servers with 100+ players. Another great one is Vikingr. A game easy to recommend for people who like medieval settings and warfare.

Mount and Blade Warband is a awesome sandbox game set in the medieval times. The tutorial is admittedly bad and there is a slight learning curve, especially on horseback but once you get over that hump, its a fun immersive game. You can play however you want, whether you want to be a ruler or be a mercenary, its all up to you. The battles can be huge and the multiplayer is quite fun if you decide to download a few mods for the game. You can spend hundreds of hours in this and the community is fairly good. There are plenty of mods if you want to customize and is much better ,in my opinion, then Fire and Sword, the next expansion in the Mount&Blade series. Overall, its a great game and worth every penny.
