The game itself is a all round fun time that will give you the heart pounding moments that you had when you first watched alien as a kid, while still making you feel smart for some of the actions it has you do, and near the end make you feel like the classic 80's-90's Badass hero, The unique way they had the AI work makes it all the better where they learn with you, and will react in different ways to keep both them and you on toes. I was put off the first time around with a certain section where you encounter the alien, but my second time it made it all the better since I was able to keep going! Also DLC for the game is alot of fun too!
Alien: Isolation is the perfect Alien game. It is beautiful and wondrous, yet absolutely terrifying. I played through the whole game on hardest difficulty without even realizing it (I'd heard it was hard so I just stuck with it) and boy did it enhance my experience! The alien AI is one of the best I've ever had the chance to be pitted against (if I can even say that, considering how helpless I felt every time I encountered it). The game kept my blood pumping throughout and only gave me a few moments of rest, which were thoroughly enjoyed. While the story isn't the most engaging, having a blood thirsty monster following you will make you forget whatever wonky plot the throw in (it's really not that bad either though). All I can say is, play this on hard difficulty for the full experience.
Alien: Isolation is one of the best games with a unique and perfect combination of survivor, adventure and stealth elements that along with its horror elements rightfully places itself among the best titles of this genre, and also has injected new components to the genre which is completely visible in some of the released games after it especially like SOMA. For me, the Alien Isolation's impact on SOMA was so high that its gameplay feels like a complete imitation of Alien: Isolation. It's a masterpiece, which literally incarcerates your breathes in your chest. you will feel the fear and take caution, you won't act carelessly and move slowly and at the end, the game finishes with hope and a promise which is maybe there will be a sequel for it. Alien: Isolation is a unique game which has been made with all courage and is admired by fans because of its loyalty to the atmosphere of the Movies series . This game requires a lot of daring to sit down and playing it, the courage that comes from the fear itself! the fear that's nesting in all of us and looking for a way to get out!
Designing science fiction games like this requires a lot of elegance and creativity. The Alien game has good graphics, and it's naturally better on newer consoles. the skill in designing the spacecraft are really good, and lighting and shading gives the player a sense of fear. Alien: Isolation as one of the freshest experiences of "The Creative Assembly" studio in the Survival and Terror genre, is a very good and strong title that can satisfy fans of this genre for a long time and honors the studio and even Sega, its publisher. Of course, this game has some shortcomings that can be ignored and tasted a true title of survival and horror genre.
One of the best horror games I've played. They stayed true to the source material and built upon its themes, and executed it flawlessly. The alien is genuinely terrifying because of how real its unpredictability makes it! You get truly immersed due to the wonderful atmosphere and realistic graphics. This game was a ride, that's for sure!
