Game description

Nice fun expansion pack of Chivalry Medieval Warfare

Highlander9782

If you liked the original Chivalry Medieval Warfare, then you will probably like this expansion pack that includes classes such as ninjas, samurais, pirates, spartans, knights and vikings. Each have unique abilities and fighting styles. The pirates have a limited ammo pistol, can drink rum to gain health as well lol. The spartans have spears, swords and shields for combat. The knights have powerful swords and armor. The ninjas are the fastest of them all and can throw ninja stars and use katanas. The samurais have tough armor and large swords that deal a lot of damage. The best part of this game for me is the battle cries each person makes and the gore and deaths, like getting impaled or beheaded. Its not as good as Chivalry Medieval Warfare but still a fun expansion, especially if you're a fan of the TV show Deadliest Warrior which its based from.

More diverse mechanics

Obsessor

Deadliest Warrior adds many new classes, and what follows - new mechanics to the gameplay of Chivalry. Apart from well known(and hated)bows and crossbows, we get flintlock pistols - thing that kills anything with one shot. There are new classes with new combinations of weapons. Downsides? No Team Objective mode. I love team objective, and was disappointed. Free For All is well... Imagine all those Pirates running around with pistols? And ninjas? Yeah... Not good. Ballance suffers in this expansion, and I honestly prefer good old Chivalry that this. Not saying it is bad though. I had whole lot of fun for some time, but ultimately went back to original Chivalry.

Better than the base game

Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior is DLC for Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Deadliest Warrior is very fun and exciting if you like charging at an enemy screaming at the top of your lungs and then getting your head or arm slashed off or doing the same to the enemy, because that's how you play this game. It's actually pretty fun if you are not too busy doing anything else.

So cool and freshing !

LoudeRZz

I extremely recommend this DLC, although it's a bit expensive it makes the game like 2 games, it opens a new 'story' and a new challenge (to play as a ninja or something like that) and even if you get tired of playing as a medieval soldier, here you have new soldiers in new situations and its refreshing to the game and you want to play more !! Very cool ! don't debate about this one !

Different enough to be an expansion

Azzmayyne

I've logged about 40+ hours in Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (the original) and about 7 hours for Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior. From my assessment so far, Deadliest Warrior adds a lot of new content with the 6 character types which makes it play quite a bit differently from the original. Each character is much more versatile and has the potential to use ranged weapons (pretty significant in terms of damage as well). This makes team games a lot more strategic than before. Also each character type is different from the next so there are a lot of different play styles this game caters to. So far I've found the game to be very enjoyable and a refreshing change from the original. However if you're solely looking for melee combat you may be better suited to sticking with Medieval Warfare. Also, an important thing to note is that mouse dragging's effectiveness has been reduced in this expansion, as your damage fluctuates based on when in the attack you actually hit your opponent. For example, for a stab to achieve maximum damage you have to make sure you hit the enemy at the end of the motion. As opposed to the original where if the stab made contact at any point it would cause full damage. Looking at you spear wielders.
