Game description

More of the same

This game plays exactly like the first one, with some noew trics that are minor, yet very useful. You will need every on of them, because these are the hardest missons in the series. In the first, you at least had a chance to get lucky occasionally. Here, security is tighter then a German soldiers....helmet? :) Seriously, if you try to shoot your way through the levels, you will get killed. Rush it, and you will get killed. This game is heavily recommended, but you might need to be a mazoist, to enjoy it fully XD

War, war never changes....much....

I'm not sure, but this game very well be gaming history's first ever standalone expansion pack. Many people say it's the same as Behind enemy lines, just shorter and harder, and they are right. This one has less then half the levels, and barely anything new gameplay wise(you can capture, and then kill enemy soldiers, among the other war crimes you can commit) and have two new characters that barely appear. With all that, this was just an expansion pack. Granted, nowadays it's barely cheaper than the main game, but still, less then 3 bucks for a game that you can't finish under a week is still a good price. Especially, if you liked the first one.

pretty much the first game

Brownninja97

If you have played the previous game then you would understand how similar this is to that, there are very few notable changes which may get you excited or not. the control shortcuts is likely the thing which i was most happy about and you will also notice that there is a difficulty increase with this game in comparison to the previous title which some may like and some will not but beware as its not a push over. The game has a grand total of 8 missions which isnt much and with a bit of elbow greese will take a number of hours to finish.

Not very different from the first game, just harder

Graphics: Much the same as Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, using the same 2D isometric view, but with a higher resolution. Sound: Also much the same as the original in terms of the ambient effects but with some new voiceovers thrown in, for both the commandos and those belonging to the enemy. The music featured in the game is by Mateo Pascual, who has done wondrous work with the series' score in virtually every Commandos game Controls: Not much different from BEL, still involving the mouse and hotkeys, but there are some new shortcuts for various actions. Gameplay: There are new commandos to control (one of which appears in Commandos 2), and new locations to see, as well as new weapons, gadgets, and Commando abilities to play around with – like the ability for Commandos to control enemy soldiers within a certain field. Commandos are much more capable in this game, being able to interact more with objects and the environment. The game overall is a lot more challenging even than BEL is, and that's saying something. While the game only has 8 missions, they are certainly more difficult to complete than the original game. If you're a fan of any of the other Commandos games, it's worth a try for sure.
