The graphics of Dead Rising 2 are much better than the first one, but in some areas the design of zombie apparel is still superficial. The texture of the environment is quality and beautiful, and the design of the characters has also worked well. The gameplay has flaws so that the character plays very slowly and hurts your nerves. and about the controls in the game, when it comes to fighting zombies and tearing them off is smooth and enjoyable. The variety of weapons in the game is very large and you can use any object in the environment to kill the zombies. The number of loads in the game is huge, but their time is short. The artificial intelligence of the enemies (zombies) does not have a definition, but you must be careful not to kill them, because in this case you have to start the game from the last save, that is because the Checkpoint is not working !!!
Dead Rising 2 is the sequel of the amazing and fun Dead Rising from Capcom. This time, you're in Las Vegas, as you inmmerse yourself in the world of Chuck Green, your daughter has been infected with the virus and needs a medicine called Zombrex to stop the infection. You need to get money to save your daughter and to stay alive in a new zombie outbreak DeadRising 2 feels new and fresh, with the elements that made the first game amazing. You can now create amazing and cool weapons with almost everything you can find. Recommended.
This game is really bad and one of the worst sequels ever made. While the AI is improved over the first game, map is bigger and combo weapons are great idea, everything else sucks. First of all and worst of all is the time limit, which is extremely restrictive and everywhere. There is time limit for starting the mission, ending, getting and on top of that there is 24h time limit for medicine you must take to the safe house every time. If you ever wondered why there are not that many speedruns for this game, this is why - time limit doesn't care if you want to just play the story, because missions start at fixed time, meaning if you don't care about boring side quests, you might as well play different game and minimize this one, just to wait for the game to finally start. Killing zombies is fun, but for nearly 15 hours it gets boring fast, especially when there is special, incredibly cheap type of zombie by the end of the game - they are hard to kill, special weapons don't do much and you will notice how useless they are, because after few hits they break. Speaking of story, it's incredibly bad with maybe one or two awesome moments - I can't even describe how bad the ending is, and overtime is even more insulting, because the pawn turns into final boss for no reason at all. Graphics were average when the game came out and it did not age good at all, as for the sound it is pretty non-existent. Another bad thing about it are the bosses, which are incredible bullet sponges OP as heck - the range of their weapons is ridiculous and so is the damage, but the fun does not end here, they get a second or two of invincibility after every hit, so don't waste your ammo thinking you can kill the enemy with the solid round from your sniper rifle, because if you will shoot immidietly before the health bar drops, it won't count as damage done. Different case is with you, though, enemies can kill you in matter of seconds, mostly because dodge is random unlock between levels 13-25 and main character is incredibly slow. AND if that's not enough, the game is incredibly buggy - have fun running into invisible wall in the middle of the road when the uberzombies will kill you, only to find out after reload that the wall is gone. Overall, this is a bad game overall and I can't even describe how annoying and infuriatingit is. There is nothing redeeming this game other than it spawned a much better sequel, Dead Rising 3, which dropped many of the things that were bad in this one.
Dead Rising 2 is the second part of the series about the virus that turns people into zombies. The most interesting feature of this production is the battle against hundreds of enemies simultaneously and the ability to use many found items of everyday use as weapons. Thanks to the capabilities of the graphics engine used in many scenes, there are even several thousand slow zombies simultaneously which was impressive back when it was released and it's looking good even now. Various locations (casinos, luxury hotels, shopping arcades) have been made in great detail and contain a multitude of interactive objects that we can use in our attempt to break through hostile hordes.
Dead Rising 2 improves on the original by keeping what made the original good and interesting while also improving the AI and your arsenal of weapons. The game includes the timed events and rescues of the first game buy ends up being a bit easier to get into and more forgiving, the AI is much improved for other survivors making it easier to have them fight with you or follow you. Story and characters keep the mixture of funny and serious B movie elements that is entertaining throughout the game. The biggest edition is the ability to bring items to a workbench where you can combine them into powerful and entertaining weapons. The only negative when compared to the first game is the loss of the ability to take and save pictures. Well worth buying if you were a fan of the first game.
