Pretty good DLC for a great game. What's fun about it is the new toys, although the shotgun was definitely overpowered in terms of efficiency, at the same time using it was a great pleasure. The new power-ups deserve a mention, slow motion worked well in crisis situations. You can see that the creators liked the HL2 gravity gun because you can find something like that which is very fun to play. Solid addition to a fun game.
Doom 3 was a good game. It wasn't anything amazing, rather disappointing after all those years of waiting, but it was far from being bad. Worst part was shallow story that got in the way of gameplay and small, claustrophoic corridors for the most time with annoying flashlight mechanic. It got old fast and many people passed on this game after getting half through it, because there was nothing new to see. Here they changed it, though, because they give you demonic powers that are a lof of fun to use and play with. With that, the game doesn't get as boring as it was the case with original Doom 3. Graphics are still nice, although dated, but it's nothing to be turned off about. I like this and recommend it for anyone that enjoyed Doom 3, although I think you're better off getting Doom 3 BFG edition.
I mean, come on, apart from a sports game, can you have anything, that can't have this subtitle? Just think, how many games and movies have resurrection in their title, geez.... Then again, Fifa: resurrection of evil sounds absurdly great for some reason. Anyway, if you liked doom 3, this is expansion is fun, if a little short. It's totally worth the price, especially with the free gift game, and unlike some DLC's you get a proper expansion pack for your money here, so i recommend it, despite my rant at the beginning.
Easy to pick up but hard to master.I died quite a bit and the atmosphere made me spooked out .Really like it and for 2.49 its a super game for me!.
Resurrection of Evil is the expansion for DOOM3. It’s very fun mini-campaign with new monsters and weapons. Set two years after the events of DOOM3, you play as a Marine sent by the UAC to investigate. Your new powers are very similar to Half Life 2’s gravity gun. Nothing original here but it’s fun to use enemies’ projectile against their owner. However the Time Control gimmick is not that great. Except for that, there is nothing really new here for the DOOM3 fans. The game feels the same, maybe a little less “Dark and Spooky” but it’s still the same gameplay. It’s a good expansion but not a must have.
