Unique in its own way

Dragons dogma is a unique game in its own way. The combat feels strange at first you can jump hang on to monsters and attack them, you can dismember parts of them and so on. It's kinda odd but cool in its own way. You got easy access to your abilities specialy if you play on controller ex xbox : X Y B A. You have a system named Pawn. You can borrow other peoples/Rent their chars and add to your party for a one time fee. This system is very unique. Your party consits of 4 adventurers including yourself. The world is pretty big and its not a short game at all. There are side quests/main quests/escort quests / kill target rewards quests so on.. You can change classes at a city if you regret what you chose at start. You can upgrade gear , and when you equip new stuff new model gets added to ur chars looks. The only downside in this game is the backtracking. There is no fast travel and you have to run back and forth. It's the only big downside the backtracking it can actually make you fed up sometimes.

A Western-inspired Fantasy Adventure: Into Free

This is definitely one of Capcom's more unique titles. It somehow blends the action hack-and-slash RPG with the very exciting and exhilarating battles with some of the larger behemoths. It has a progression system based on gear and abilities and a class system that is worth researching beforehand to get the most out of it, as well as a pawn and special currency system that adds some depth beyond your individual skill sets. Grinding and questing are part of the gameplay loop, but the fun combat really helps to make your growth meaningful and less tedious, much like Capcom's flagship title, Monster Hunter. There are definitely some stand-out issues though, like with the affinity system, the traveling times, and the class-based stat leveling system that might make or break your character. Beyond that, I think it's worth giving some of your time to experience it. The original theme song is unfortunately not restored for the PC release, but it's worth listening to before playing.

Just Like the Dangan

Dragon's Dogma is not what you think it is. It hides it well to be fair, you start the game and it's a third person action RPG. You've played third person action RPGs before, you know how it works, you run about, do the quests, hit the baddies, level up, and off you go. There's three things that make Dragon's Dogma different. First, the pawns. You are usually joined by three sort-of-human followers, one of which you create, the others taken from other players, who help you out as you travel. Their AI is superb - they learn from you, follow your lead, try to help out however they can, and remark about things they see and do. It's not perfect, and it shouldn't be, they're not automatons, they're people. Well, 'people'. The second is the world, it's just not quite...right. There's something amiss in the world, something wrong. Sitting inbetween Dark Souls' mystery and Skyrim's openness, you get Dragon's Dogma and the world is utterly fascinating to explore as a result. The third is what happens. I can't spoilt this for you but...it doesn't go down how you expect. Combine all that with a crisp, satisfying combat system, a huge amount of customisability, and a cracking soundtrack, this is a Game You Should Play.

An innovative game that I simply couldn't get into

Dark Arisen is a unique take on an RPG that just missed the mark for me. With the recruitment of your own companion that you can customize and two other party members that you can gather from online, and it keeps things interesting and allows you to customize to fit your fighting style. The combat can get a bit repetitive, but was definitely enjoyable. Climbing a cyclops to slash away at his neck was definitely something I had not experienced anywhere else. Besides that though, I found combat to be missing something and when you're traveling about between towns, you're going to be engaging in A LOT of combat. Overall I think it's a great game, but a bit hard to get into and not for everyone.

A good and innovative RPG.

Although the storyline is not a multi-layered one , and it's kind of predictable but it's a good start for a role-playing game. In this adventure you get to know different groups and people, you will form your party, complete various side missions, and ultimately by finding a mysterious dragon you will discover the mystery of the story and the reason why you have been selected as Arisen. the core gameplay of Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen is based on fighting, selecting your initial class will have a very clear impact on how your interaction will play with the bass. In Dragons Dogma, it's clearly focused on the upgrading system, like in other games of this genre. Once your experience has reached a certain level, you will be able to unlock some skills. However, the way you choose from a wealth of skills is what distinguishes the hero as well as the style of the game. It should be noted that Dragon Dogma introduced elements in the role-playing style of the world-famous gamers, which for sure many gamers have long been wishing for the presence of such elements in the world of gaming. Of course Dragon Dogma can not be regarded as the height of the roots of the great elders, but because of the innovations in the game, this work can still be considered as a good and accepted role for the last few years. It should be noted that Dragons Dogma introduced some new elements in the open world role-playing genre, which for sure many players have long been wishing for the presence of such elements in the world of gaming.
