Great DLC that introduces fun stuff.

Fallout 3: Broken Steel is the best of the extensions to "Fallout 3". In my opinion, it should have been the first DLC released for this game. It logically develops the story from the core game, not to mention raising the level cap that allows the players to make their characters even better. "Operation Avalanche" was a mistake, "Broken Steel" is, on the other hand, a model DLC.

A proper bang to the end of Fallout 3

An absolute necessity to concluding the game. It not only gives you more levels to gain more skills, but lets you witness the epic battle between the Brotherhood of Steel and the Enclave with Liberty Prime at your side. You also have the opportunity to finish everything after completing the main story (unlike the base game's ending) and get to push the red button on a location of your choice :)

Proper ending to vanilla

This DLC feels like it was cut out from the main game last minute only to be sold after release. This expansion adds another +10 levels for you to get, bringing level cap up to 30. It also allows you to play after ending of the main game, because before it you actually couldn't. Without it, Fallout 3 feels bare bones. The same great gameplay and plot and it enhances the main game immensely. Absolutely recommended.

Must have...

No, i mean literally, you must have this DLC, if you want your character survive the end of the base game. This DLC literally saves your life, by retconning your death, + it expands the vanilla games ridiculous level cap by 10, which is far more sensible. You will still reach 30 before finishing the game, but at least it wont be that soon. As for the story itself, you have a chance, to finally finish of the Enclave...or at least the Washington branch. It feels good to get back at them, for what they did to you in the vanilla game. The time for vengeance has finally come.

Who doesnt love big robots?

A great addition to an already great game. It is basically required because it's the only way to continue your capital wasteland adventures!
