This DLC is maintained in horror style, and it is first location in Fallout which scared me. We are in different location than in basic game - Casino Sierra Madre. We are without our equipment and we again have to count stimpaks, money and spare ammo. Gameplay is more demanding than in basic game. Opponents in this DLC are some kind of "zombie" and they don't want to die. We don't have a lot of guns, and we have special collar on our neck which can explode if we are inattentive. I have to mention great NPC's in this DLC - dialogues are really great and climate.
Honestly, I have not played this DLC as such myself, but from what I have seen and as I have some experience in Fallout: New Vegas and also I could play a little in a friend's house I feel able to do a review of the same , the DLC starts with a radio call that will take you to a casino called Sierra Madre, after arriving there you will sincerely want to return to Mojave because it will start to make the thing very cloudy, this DLC recommends as such to be a player 20 already is to imagine the Difficulty, when I probe surprised me how difficult the monsters were but it is already part of the DLC the fact of so much difficulty, but those 6 hours that adds the DLC say they are the best to spend a while of Fallout: New Vegas. DLC recommended for people who like hard things.
Fallout: New Vegas Dead Money was a different experience for me. By it's nature, Fallout is an obscure and dark theme game, but I was never scary or creepy for me, and Dead Money changed that, leaving me into a place that really made me feel scared, that I was being hunted and that felt amazingly fun. Dead Money is a new experience for Fallout fans that everyone should try. Recommended.
Dead Money is a pretty decent extension. And while in fact it may not be some kind of masterpiece, but it certainly is worth its price. Dead Money offers us a slightly different perspective on exploring Mohave desert and is definitely different from what the basic version of the game got us accustomed to. What's more, it makes it very interesting and well-thought experience. Especially if you like horror games. Give it a go.
The missions are good, the mystic feeling is good and the companions are good. But it feels a bit rushed and after a couple hours I was done with it.The rewards after completing the dlc is okay and helps with caps a lot but I say that the plot and spooky location is the mayor selling point.
