The ambient, sounds, backgrounds and everything around this game is very awesome, smooth and beautifull, giving it an style of a painting, making this game a piece of art, who anyone that likes platform games must have and play it. Even the message of the game its to have consience about our planet and what are doing to it, something that makes this game even more enjoyable. Itsn't hard at all, making it a good choice if you're not familiar with platform/puzzles games
When you first start up the game, you'll be a little excited; it'll look gorgeous and the play is decently interesting. As you continue to play, though, the initial excitement will fade and there won't be much left to hold you to the game. It'll still look nice, but the gameplay - while challenging - just doesn't have any draw, and the "story", such as it is, is barely even worth mentioning.
At first when I saw this game, I though this must be that cute little platformer game. Jumping here, jumping there, solve easy puzzle. But I'm wrong. The challenges in this game ain't that easy to deal with even the boss fight need skills. There's also a time-trial level where you must race with time and you must not die. If you die you have to restart the level. As an Indie Games Enthuasiast, I could say this game is a great platformer game. Loved this.
When I started to play Fly'n I thought it will be fun and easy game. I wasn't mistaken, it's fun game, but I can't say it easy. Maybe when you start to play with one Bud, but as you start to have more of them, when you reach all four, then it start to be really hard game. I mean, sometimes you must combine skills of all of Buds, which is not easy to do. I guess this is what I like the most in this game. Also, "boss" fights. Each boss stage was greatly done. Fly'n doesn't have any "fireworks" graphics, it's simply, but really nice looking game. Music also fits into game. If you are fan of platformer games, or enjoy mix of platformer and puzzle games that are getting harder with every next level you are playing - get Fly'n.
This amazing game flew under my radar until the recent humble sale. I had it on my sights many times, but I just acquired it and can say that it is well worth the price it is asked here! I've played quite many indie games and while most of them have been of high quality and entertaining they have been pretty much one trick ponies. Fly'n is almost like the little brother of Rayman Origins, and this should be seen as a huge compliment! The world is unique, artistic and pleases the eye. The music fits the aesthetic mood and the pace of the game, making it easier to delve into the world. You will face new areas constantly, wishing for the trip to last just a bit longer still. Some of the puzzles will indeed lengthen the lifespan of the game since they are so challenging. However, a thirst for more is left when all is said and done. This is why I would call it the little brother of Origins. Top notch quality that will leave you wanting more.
