This game is worth every penny. Fun characters, great coop (played with girlfriend). Puzzles start out easy, new abilities are introduced very well, and it gets progressivly harder but is never frustrating, it was great fun dying in various places trying to get all trophies. We loved the couch coop, please make more games like this!
HeartZ CoHope Puzzles is what you would expect, a game full of puzzles. But unlike most puzzle games, you can die in a variety of ways. I found that most of the deaths were humorous and very fun despite losing! It really set this game apart from games like Rayman. The level design was just perfect as it introduces new challenges to you over time, increasing the difficulty gradually. My favorite thing about the game was the characters because each character has their own abilities. This played really well in co-op as character abilities chained so well with one another. I had a ton of fun with my friends playing HeartZ and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good puzzle co-op game!
HeartZ isn't really original. On the contrary, the game is heavily influenced by Trine (Who was already a multiplayer take on The Lost Vikings). Instead of your typical heroic fantasy, the game is about three creatures who are trying to escape the lab of the mad scientist Dr Nylus. But the concept is pretty much the same game. Each character has his own abilities and it's up to you (With or without two friends) to make these guys cooperate in order to solve puzzles, escape dangerous traps and defeat powerful enemies. It's not original, but the game is very good and fun (And there isn't much games like Trine on the market anyway). Give it a try!
