excellent game, a lot of things to do, large maps, much better than the "how to survive 1". The online mode is awesome ! nice co-op! up to 4 players online and offline !! great net code! the independency is one of the strong points of the game(what ever you wanna do) they really should've put narrative story line! lack of depth of the quests and visual controls (the camera) can be frustrating at times but the when you complete a quest its very satisfying! character models and weapons are well designed! completing the levels together and leveling up with your friends in your camp is a wonderful idea!
This game I find actually really enjoyable. There's a hub world, each mission you start, you go to another level unique to that mission (atleast to my knowledge). There's online co-op, rpg elements for upgrading and crafting certain items. It's overall a much better experience than the first one. Although personally I'm not a fan of the game holding your hand and transporting you to each missions level, which was what I loved about the first one, but it works nonetheless. Now if only I could convince my friends to get it, then it might be even better. It works pretty well for a singleplayer game which is how I've been playing it so far, but some levels are a bit difficult and you really do need those additional people with you. Overall I would recommend this game to any isometric, twin-stick shooting fans. People who are real loot collectors in games I can see having a bit of fun in this game as well.
This game really won my heart. The graphics are so much better than HTS1. And I think you start more easily than HTS1. I can play this more peacefully. And the more you level up how harder it gets. But it's fun to start off slowly so you exactly know how everything works so you are prepared. And this crafting system is 10/10! To play this with a friend online is also much fun. I really can't get enough of it. I never played zombie/survival games before but I got introduced to this game and I love it! 10/10
Great story and gameplay. A lot of new and interesting components for an action-RPG zombie game, like crafting and the aiming system. There's a lot of interesting weapons and variations to choose from. I haven't been able to play with friends online yet, but there are plenty of extra missions to keep the game interesting and replay value up.
I definitely recommend this game. It's a ton of fun, especially with friends. Ransacking a town and looting it thoroughly while tag teaming zombies with melee and ranged combos and going home to the safety of your wooden fortress is incredibly satisfying. Honestly, if you haven't already, check out the SWAT trailer, a lot of that is late-end game footage but it pretty accurately portrays what a lot of the game is like. Something I find really cool about this game is the local multiplayer support. I'm a huge couch/splitscreen gamer and seeing games, especially ones like this, support couch co-op is fantastic. I don't recommend this game if you don't want to grind now and then, can't deal with occasional connection issues or glitches, aren't a fan of twinsticks or survival games, or don't want to spend a hefty amount of time exploring and looting.
