So, Mount & Blade... What can be said about this game? I remember playing this game a ton while I was young and even know I can say I still enjoying this medieval warfare simulator from back of the day and have fun either alone or with some friends. I think I'd recommend playing this game better with some friends to do crazy stuff, like I always do with my friends. Recommended.
The game where i lost my childhood or let's say the franchise played all of the mount and blades this is an awsome singleplayer game with good npc-s lets say it like that and blob fights i need to give it a 90 because it has flouds and many of them but its notting you cant endoure
Mount & Blade was the first Pc game i have bought. I think I was 18. If you like first person role play games, then you will love M&B. +Mounted combat +Bows, javelins +Blades, spears +Training +Tournaments +Army vs army combats (with mods you can make it like 100 vs 100) +Lots of mods. +Not only level system but also combat weapon experience system too. -multiplayer -you can not feel outside like the elder scrolls. (when at outside villages or combats it goes to 3rd person map view) At last: If you like those kinds of games, give it a try. (You can also check youtube videos etc)
You take the role as a character who roams the lands of Calradia. You are given quite free hands. You can join a kingdom on their conquests, follow them in their goal of controlling all of Calradia. Or you can try and start your own kingdom, it will be quite a challenge but with the right contacts it can be done.
Mount & Blade starts you a sandbox world that allows you to build up the forces you want, hire different followers to fight for you, trade, and take jobs for different factions, possibly becoming a higher ranking member of society. Battles can be small skirmishes with just you against a few enemies or involve 100s of soldiers. You can use a variety of weapons, both melee and ranged, including mounted combat where you can make use of bows or lances. Melee combat involves you swinging your weapon in different directions or thrusting while blocks are done by moving your weapon to the correct side of you to deflect blows or making use of shields. The game can get fairly repetitive as mostly you are just going to be fighting battles and raising your skills, there's not much in the way of tactics, well made maps, or that many options when it comes to interacting with the world. Fun game that is well worth the price.
