PID is a platformer with some minor logical elements. The game is pretty cool, but it's not meant for everyone because it requires decent skills as it is pretty hard. PID in the later stages offers some surprising and extremely suggestive moments that sometimes enrich the monotonous game. There is some interesting idea put into this game and considering the price is right for such interesting title.
The art and story are nice, but the controls are too frustrating, often just to sluggish, resulting in a death and needing to replay a section, which wouldn't be so bad if waiting and careful timing wasn't such an important part of many sections. This makes replaying even short sections quickly feel tedious. In summary, if you're looking for a nice looking, long and hard (that's what she said) game, this is the one for you.
For an indie game at this price, Pid is surprisingly deep, and full of content. A received it free a while ago, and been playing it on and off again ever since. If you like platformers, that requires you to use your brain, and not just your thumbs, this one is for you.
This game intrigued me first off with its beautiful landscapes, but caught my attention a little later on with its amazing gameplay. The puzzles are hard but do-able. In that sense, when it is solved you get a warm feeling that you did something hard which is always welcomed
Pid is an excellent platformer, with a great gameplay. Is it an easy game? No. There are some tricky moments. Who will regret to face some challenge? Even if you re blocked at some point you will be able to find some walk troughs for helping you. Some levels are really amazing. The game is beautiful, the soundtrack too. Price: 10 $? Maybe not, but under 3 $ Pid is a must have.
