Game description

i play it

Mamaguevos

This game is very entertaining for those who like horror stories, is to play it and each time you pass "Level" is like going from day ie Day 1 climb to Day 2 is fantastic because its graphics are incredible and his story is a bit complex because all horror games are almost the same, but this is something that sets it apart from all, gives pause to the person who plays it up to more and not have to spend much time but end really your success.

Just completed it

GiveMeAName

Just finished it, and i still don't know the full story. The only puzzle element is, figuring out what the clues which end each day relate to. Some are actual clues, some are just troll's but if you end up not knowing or being able to figure out the clue, the game then after a while tells you a more pin point clue/area to visit. There isnt much scare, but some of the scares are pretty good scares. The clown is horrible, especially if sound is on fairly high and playing at night. If you wasn't scared of clowns before, well you won't like them much once you're done with this game like me. In the early days upto prob 25, you will find yourself opening and closing doors so so much, and trying to find keys. But once past that its semi ok, just extremely boring and tedious. Day 30 is the longest day, and its fairly simple in terms of end puzzle. All in all, its a good like time killer of maybe 8 hours etc I'm not sure it warrants 14.99 though sadly.

Pretty Good Horror Game

DarkSparda

Pineview Drive is a fine horror game, with good graphics and sound quality. Pineview Drive is a horror survival game, in which you had to survive to 30 in-game days, and believe me its not an easy task. Its a quite tough game. You would be forced to explore house in total darkness, it would be wise if you find a flashlight. This game contains some bugs, but still its a fine game!

Some things you NEED to know first

Spind426

Alright to start off this game is made by UIG who are the guys who make all the simulator games "farm simulator, truck simulator.. etc" and i believe this is their first non-simulator game. --There is no jumping, crouching, climbing onto ledges, crawling under beds. Just the ability to press E to pick up batteries and open doors. --There are no enemies, ghosts, monsters, beasts, people, or ANYTHING real for that matter. Just spooky sounds and flickering lights. --There are no puzzles or events that require thinking, just a search for keys. --You do NOT get to play during the daytime. (see below) You find a letter in each room and that triggers a black screen to say "day 2" in which starts the next day at dawn which rapidly shows the sun going down, so you only have about 25-30 seconds to see the game in daylight. So you are always playing at night time. So don't be fooled by the nice screenshots, you will never be able to enjoy the day time. There is no real day or night time cycle or any time limit for that matter. It is permanently night until you find the trigger that begins the next day. The entire game is roughly the size of one counterstrike map. The framerate is awful, i get 28fps on a radeon 7970 overclocked. Others complain about the fps as well. So many developers use "horror" games as a free pass to just make a map and add nothing else.
