Quick time event, the game

redrebelleader

Seriously, this is a game, that has quick time events, and a few chose your own adventure type choices, that can change the path you take, but that's it. All of it is live action, so the graphic is life like, obviously :) What makes this a great game is the self aware nature of the whole thing. The actors do a good job, especially when you say something stupid. The game can be pretty merciless, almost as much, as your in game girlfriend, if you try to spy on her. I recommend buying a separate keyboard for harder difficulties. A cheap one...

I love chocolate! :)

I never thought that someone would make a game out of a zero Punctuation meme, or that I would enjoy a title, that consist only of quick time events. Well, I was wrong on both accounts. Press x to not die is an interactive movie, filled with meta humor, and lots of content, that you will not see in your first 10 playthroughs. The game is short, can be completed in about an hour, but it is meant to be played multiple times, and actually fun, cause things can turn out very differently if you take different paths. If you'd like to try out something different, this cheap little game is the perfect choice.

A rather short, yet entertaining interactive film

reginleifx

Press X to Not Die is a quite good experience, with hilarious dialogue choices, pretty good acting, and multiple endings to unlock. When it comes to its gameplay, Press X to Not Die does not have much of it, being most of it just selecting a dialogue option or just pressing a button prompt that appears on your screen at certain times (Basically, a QTE). Since most dialogue options lead to different situations, the game does have some replayability if you liked the first playthrough and want to see the different endings to the story. The game's plot is not to be taken seriously. People suddenly turn aggresive and start killing others on the street, the main character's best friend is murdered in front of him, so he tries to find his girlfriend, pick her up and escape town as soon as possible. Overall, I would recommend getting Press X to Not Die at full price if you are a fan of interactive comedy films and are interested in seeing every single ending, or waiting for it to go on sale if this is not a genre you particularly like, but want to give a shot eventually.

This game doesn't take itself seriously ,Which is okay !

akassassinn1

Press X to Not Die is apocalyptic interactive movie of some sort, which is slightly like the game Missing, it's very simple , some clip plays on your screen , you get prompted to press a key (X for example) and another clip plays out depending on the key you pressed or weather or not you clicked that key, quick time events are present here and plenty, you get to make choices every now and then which will reflect on how the game goes and offer a bit more replayability , you need to note that this game doesn't take itself seriously and it's about mocking horror films or horror games, that being said , acting is pretty bad and I guess since it's not a serious game it is supposedly okay , lots of funny situations and events happen and they're just ridiculously funny . Acting is not that all great , music is simple, the game is very short but it has some replayability value, it is pretty funny and god way to spend some time, but if you're looking for something serious then you need to look elsewhere.
