I was blown away by how dark this game became after the colourful and charming Sands of Time. Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within take the Prince's adventure to a whole new level with a darker experience extremely focus on combat and way, way more harder game this time, which is good. The game is the best looking of the original trilogy about the Sands of Time and still better than most of the modern Prince of Persia games. Recommended. You won't regret it.
Now, this is more like it! In this game, the enemies actually put up a fight, and i enjoyed the battles way more! Also, the jumping around sections make way more sense. I don't say i could do them in the real world, but i could do them here at least, and actually finished the game this time! If you want to play a good sword-fighting game, this is one of the best, and it looked really good as well!
Direct sequel of the Prince of Persia remake, this game tells the story of the Prince after he has changed the past to save the day. His action is seen as a crime by the gods, so they sent the Dahaka after him. Warrior Within is exactly like its predecessor. Same mechanics, same game-design. The combats are a bit more elaborate but that's all. The only true new thing is the Dahaka. The portions of the game where that monster is running after us are excellent. You must think to find your way, and think fast (Because that thing will OHKO you)! That's the whole point behind this game. Prince of Persia : Warrior Within is a better version of Prince of Persia. Darker and more efficient.
This is the sequel to the original Prince of Persia The Sands of Time released on last-ten consoles (PS2) I still prefer these Prince of Persia's to the cel-shaded 'easier' Prince Of Persia in that the combat is much more fluid, free-flowing and the gameplay offers more of a challenge. You still get to deal with the ingenious time-travelling/manipulative methods. I still highly rate this action adventure title and is worth checking out even if it almost 10 years old.
