Gat the Game

While it may be shorter than the other entries in the series, and for the first time you can't make your own character, this game is still very fun and a must have of any Saints Row fan. If you have the previous game in the series and kept your save you can import it into this game as your character will play an important role in the game though you will control Gat and Kenzie, two of my favorite characters in this series. The graphics and gameplay are really good, though I do have to admit that the vehicles and some of the surrounding areas could of had a bit more variety added to it. Then again, seeing the place this takes place, it may actually be perfect.

Great Way To Completely Ruin The Saints Row Series

This game is awful. Get Out Of Hell is a failed effort by Volition / Deep Silver. I think Saints Row 4 was bad enough with those storyline changes and weird guns, and here at Get Out Of Hell they completely destroyed it. First things first... It was supposed to be a DLC, but they released it as a stand-alone expansion. At least they could release a DLC with Johnny being back in the days of the first Saints Row games or with a completely different story just like they did with this one, better quality as a whole game, and with much more content to do and explore, instead of this. The campaign is short, don't have high expectations. It's less than 5 hours. Boring. I like that they feature Johnny in this one because he is a fan favourite character of the series, but look at this... look at where they chose to have him and it is Johnny with superpowers in hell. They probably thought it's a unique and different idea which can follow after the events of Saints Row 4, which is, but.... No. Not with Saints Row. Demons, some others demons, and then superpowers. Get Out of Hell is definitely not my cup of tea. When you follow series like this one for example, you don't want them always to do stuff that's "too far away" or "too much". SR series was supposed to be a gang-related game, and look where we are now. Some people like it, that's fine. But me as a Saints Row fan, didn't like how they end up leading the series and how Get Out Of Hell ended up being as a game. Plus, It's not worth it with that price. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Want a great Saints Row experience? Grab Saints Row 2.

The name is Cheesy as hell(see, i can do it too?)

Considering how short this game is, you won't be surprised to learn, that it was supposed to be a dlc for saints Row 4, which in turn was supposed to be a DLC for Saints Row 3....oh boy. Well, at least there is one Sandbox Series my machine can handle as the years go by... The game is short, and feels even shorter, cause most of the missions are actually just activities, and scavenge hunts, which you only need if you wan't the 100% completion dlc, if you really wan't you can shoot Satan in the face after a few hours of playing. So, why did i gave it a perfect score you ask? Well, the humor is awesome as usual, but my main reason was the angelic flight. I always wanted to experience that, and this game makes it so much fun. Sometimes I just flew for hours in the city, like a really bored pigeon. After upgrading it to the max, you can stay in the air for ridiculously long, and the way the building speed by you, is magnificent. I enjoyed it even more then webslinging!!! The Coop mode is a lot of fun as well, though in this game the enemies has zero chance against two players at one.

Eh...Pass

I was in the middle of writing a full on review, and Steam automatically restarted and I lost everything. I don't feel like typing it all again so I'm going to keep this short: Mediocre at best. ZERO customization (unless you buy the pack that lets you have purple wings, whoopdefriggindoo), all shops have been replaced by a vending machine which only lets you buy/upgrade your weapons. The weapons are mostly average accept for the armchair, which is pretty decent. I really only ever found the stomp power useful, the rest I barely touched. The map is fairly small, the activities are sub-par, the musical number gave me a headache, and the whole watered down story is told through a storybook style narration. Six different endings, so that's cool I suppose, it's the only thing that adds any form of replay value to the game. You DO get to shoot Satan in the face, so there's that. I'd pass on this one unless you can get it on sale for about $5.

Even more fun than Saints Row 4!

I honestly liked this game way more than saint's row 4. Gat Out of Hell has personality, charisma. I thought the story was funny, ridiculous and fun. Gameplay is usually saints row fair, but the environment, missions, and everything else was great. It took me around 7 hours to complete it and I felt satisfied with that. The game maker hit the right amount of time. I recommend this everyone who likes funny open world games.
