This game is very fun for kids (I am not one though), but for players that are a bit older it's just a simple 2D remake of sugar which kids' parents always were telling to not eat because it destroys the teeth. Despite the game being very short, it can be a good challenge for players. All the levels colorful and bosses are fun and that'd be on of the rarely positive things here. I just don't feel like wasting 7 dollars for a 2D game when I can get some much better games for less money.
My cousins play it sometimes which in turn pretty much like it. Well its basically a physics puzzle game meant for escaping. The link between the cookies and its factory is somewhat interesting as they say xd. The achievements are not bad ,fun to earn them...more over a time pass game when youre so much bored.Flipping the background is one of the best feature for this game.
So it's not just a platform game. It's more like a puzzle game with platform elements. You are playing as cute sugar cube and you're trying to beat all of 90 levels, placed in different themed worlds. As sugar cube you have the power to flip tiles, and it will come handy in almost every level but also make your playing much harder. Sadly, it's still easy and short game. I managed to beat this game and get two endings in 2 hours. In my opinion, it's still worth to play this game. There are also achievements that will make you to play as best as you can - there are achievements for not dying in each world, which is quite difficult to do. If you like platform games, and maybe puzzle platformers, than you must try this game.
The Good: -Good pacing in game. -Actually makes you think (in some levels). The Bad: -Difficulty curve is uneven, many levels are just too easy and others are more difficult all of a sudden. -Short, not a lot of variation.
This game does everything it sets out to do correctly, but fails to do anything spectacular with them. The tile-flipping mechanic is at times put to interesting use and this is the game's one saving grace from complete mundanity. It all has the unfortunate feel of something one would play when nothing else is to hand. This game would perhaps be better suited to mobile devices and tablets for use while commuting or somesuch. This is not to say that it is a bad game; just that there seems to be potential here which was never quite met. It is quite enjoyable in short bursts, and for the price it is certainly worth purchasing.
