Game description

Warp-Zonen, welche Sie in andere Spiele warpen lassen

Amazing and tough platformer!

Super Meat Boy is a platform game about a living meat fighting a fetus villain kidnapping his bandage girlfriend (yes, bandage). But don't be fooled by that strange combination: this game is AMAZING. Even with simple controls (you only jump, climb walls and dash, that's all), each level is a original and tough challenge. So tough, that you would need infinite lives to get past them... and you have infinite lives! The only problem is there's no checkpoints for each level: you need to pass the level at once to achieve it. The bosses are a nice touch, too. Tough, like the levels. Yes, you'll die a lot. But you'll feel REALLY GOOD when you finally pass the level. Anyway, this game is an indie masterpiece and EVERY platform gamer needs to play it!

At the hardest levels it's like pure art when you complete a level.

Games becoming easier over the years is an interesting discussion. Were games too hard? Were they legitimately hard on the nes? Snes? But difficult games are not gone completely. Games like dark souls and blood bourne show people still enjoy testing their limits. If those games names make you shutter at the thought of playing them due to the difficulty then this isn't a game for you. But to me? I love this game. It's a challenging platformer and yet...I almost never felt frustrated. But to start off, here we go. Graphics 10/10-They're very pleasing to look at. Very minimalistic and not taxing on your hardware. I enjoy the little touches like blood trails on where you walk or climb. Don't expect ground breaking, but I don't think that was the intent. Sound 10/10- Sound tracks are good. And never really repetitive. And the death sounds are gross in the best way possible. controls 10/10-Perfect. Period. And it needs to be. If the controls were even a little bit off, it would be unplayable due to the pin point accuracy you need to get through the game. Ironicly the controls are so perfect you will need to get used to them. There is NO delay and that may throw you off for a little bit. But I never felt like the controls messed me up. Gameplay 9/10-I love it. But it's really hard. I cannot say this enough. You need so much practice and such great reflexes, that you may not be able to beat the game. My point is that this game isn't for everyone. But this game does make it less frustrating by respawning you when you die at once. And the levels are not long either meaning you can get back to where you died quickly. Unlimited lives as well. My only problem is the hidden levels that have lives. It seems counter intuitive to the idea of the game and doesn't seem like a good idea. But it's so rewarding when you beat a level, it just feels unmatched. replay 10/10- Yes, this will last you a while. unlockable characters with their own abilities, hidden levels and a harder dark world to complete...you get the bang for your buck. overall 10/10-This isn't for everyone. But with it's perfect controls, great level design, and dark sense of humor, I always had fun even when I died, a lot.

Super Meat Boy is an arcade game released by the independent Team Meat studio that includes Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes. Production based on an online mini-game with a similar title. In the game we play the title Meat Boy, a piece of meat with hands and feet. Our little hero is tasked with saving his girlfriend, who was abducted by Dr. Fetus. Super Meat Boy would be a nonsense game if not for its difficulty level. In theory, each level can be completed in a few seconds, and the whole game in a few minutes, but in practice it is a bit different. The game is seemingly innocent and simple. First appearance can be deceiving though! The creators presented us with hardcore, demanding focus, precision and above all the skills of the platform game for the 21st century. During our game we have to complete 6 basic worlds and 2 bonus. Each of them is different in construction, obstacles and opponents. Before buying this product, I recommend to invest in gamepad as it's much easier to play this was but be warned, you will still die a LOT!

You need patience

Super meat boy is really frustrating game, but that's advantage of this game. SMB is really hard and you will die many times, you will learn where to go, when jump but when you finally finish level that gives a lot of satisfaction. Of course not everyone will like this game, some people like easy games and they shouldn't launch SMB, but if you like challenge you should be it.

Tons of levels and challenge. Excellent value.

Super Meat Boy delivers strongly with a package of responsive, tight controls, a great variety of levels and good art direction. You need a lot of patience with this game, it's super hard. It's important to not that I always felt the game was very fair though, every failure was caused by myself, not being unlucky. You might want to get an extra gamepad for this game, in case you find your first one accidentally smashed to bits. ;-)
