Long, long ago, in an age that only the gods can now remember, the universe was ruled by two powerful beings that were revered and worshipped by all races - but the ‘brotherly' relationship between these two creatures was always in question from the beginning of time. To cut a long story short, they hid two artifacts in a huge Temple.Read full description

The game is cheap enough to help give this 4 out of 5 stars, but in the end while I can recommend this game I can't give it a high recommendation. It has great graphics and gameplay, but it gets boring really fast. Others may not get bored so quickly, but they are likely to end up getting frustrated. All in all it is a nice way to spend some free time at the price, but at the same time there are better alternatives out there.
X-Blades is a slasher game that shares all the advantages and disadvantages of the similar Devil May Cry 4. Still, it is in almost every aspect the game is much weaker. In general, we walk from the map to the map and kill what we can, we go on and on over and over again. There are no environmental puzzles, not to mention any attractions that could make us forget about repetitive gameplay. Rather poor title.
X-Blades is an adventure hack and slash game with RPG elements. Aside from the characters and the objects the game?s graphics are stellar. For example, the environmental and water effects, the light hitting your weapons from the sunshine, etc. This makes the game very eye catching. The game does support ten languages which I was not expecting. There isn?t much that you can tweak in the video settings. You are given the preset settings. However, you can play in windowed mode but not borderless. The game is full of RPG elements, there are hidden items to collect and soul drops from the AI to help you power up your character with a number of different types of abilities.
You can call it poor man's Devil May Cry. Still, it's not bad hack and slash game, with beautiful Ayumi. You are traveling from place to place and kill all enemies in those places. If I remember, there was a count how many monsters are left, also they are showed on minimap. Sadly, when you learn about game mechanics this game will not be hard to beat. Even on harder difficult levels, it's still too easy. For the story, I didn't enjoyed it and I just played this game as h&s with good looking girl. Don't let yourself be fooled, the alternate ending is just a simply one scene at the end. Not worth effort playing the whole game again. Like my title for this review said, it's a game only for one time. Once you beat it, there will be nothing to do - there are not many things to do except following "story". Decide for yourself, if you are looking for decent game to play once and leave it, or maybe something other. You can check it only if you are a hard fan of DMC-like games.
