Exciting Story- Boring gameplay and short game

The lost archive is a DLC that promises exctiting back-story on subject 16s life, but which dissapoints in many ways. The story it tells is quite exciting, specially for an AC-fan. Still, the way it tells the story is very boring. It uses the worst part of Assassins Creed: Revelations gameplay, and nothing else. It feels like a wierd Portal-mod or something on that line. Futhermore, the DLC is very short too, so as it dissapoints in gameplay it also is really short, but tells an exciting story.

A bit different than the usual AC gameplay

The Lost Archive is a very different DLC than what we've had with the past 2 DLCs. They do add some multiplayer and singleplayer content, yes, but the main aspect of this DLC is the single-player "mission", much similar to those puzzles that you unlock when you find a certain amount of collectibles. The gameplay is not that fun, but if you're more into story, rather than gameplay, this may be just for you! It uncovers a bit about the series, and is quite interesting. Other than that, which accounts for 80% of the DLC, which can be played-through rather quickly, you get 3 multiplayer characters, which were previously only awarded to pre-orders at certain game-shops, being the Crusader, Jester and the Doctor. As for the single-player goodies, you get increased crossbow, bomb and gun capacity, and also three new skins to use, being the Armor of Brutus, Altair robe and the all-new Assassin armor.

Good story and original gameplay

The Lost Archive is a single player DLC for Assassin's Creed Revelations. The gameplay of the new missions of the additional content is the same of the sections with Desmond in the main game. All the levels are like a first person platform with some simple puzzles. The design of the levels is good and sometimes surreal. The new content is quite short but fun and it helps to discover new things about some characters of this game
