Castles clearly needs more work put into the ui and controls, this is clear from the onset of the game. First, the tutorial does not work with the keyboard. There are no mouse controls as well. I found this to be extremely irking because it is after all, on the pc. After the tutorial, the keyboard does work though. The game plays much better on a xbox controller, I recommend everyone play the game with one instead of the keyboard and mouse due to Castle's control issues. The gameplay itself isn't anything amazing, it's your typical match 3 puzzle game with the occasional bosses. The bosses were the most interesting thing in the game because they were all unique in their own way. By that I mean, they all slightly changed the game mechanics and required multiple combinations to defeat. There's fifty levels to complete but I lost interest after level 20. I had much more fun playing the versus mode however as I competed against my brother in seeing who could match faster! I felt that castles was meant to be more of a co-op game instead of a single player game in the end.
