Old but Gold

This game is very very old but it's very very funny! I played when I was a child, and it gave to me tons of hours of fun! It's like an RPG where you can select the character (not only Joan of Arc is avaible), you will buy armor and new weapons and there are ever sub-quests! The story is pretty nice too it cost a few of euros, it deserve a try!

You need to give this a go

Think Dynasty Warriors with an actual story set in medieval times, with an inventory system, and RTS elements. Is it perfect? No, at times you have too many enemies on you at once, making the higher difficulties all the more frustrating. Is it old? Yes, but holds it self up enough to make it enjoyable. If your a fan of DW or the M&B series, give this game a shot, I don't think you will regret it.

Old gem that should be polished

A hard game but can be really good once you get to the delicious core, if lacklustre graphics and some bad voice acting puts you off this game won't be for you however for those who can look past that this game can will fill that gap in your gem collection

Tough but thoroughly enjoyable

This is yet another hybrid type of game, and Joan of Arc shines with all the nice touches the developers put into it. You can fight alone, or command all your troops in battle. There's tons of equipment to use here too, from your standard swords to massive catapults and trebuchets. The game still looks great, even today. Soldiers are very detailed, as are the environments you'll be traveling through and fighting in. Big battles are impressive, with slaughter on a massive scale, and all this done to a backdrop of siege weapons launching chunks of stone and other things at the enemy. The soundtrack is great, and perfectly fits with the mood of the game. The sounds characters make, and the sounds of battle, are superb. Swords clashing, men screaming, and stuff exploding and being crushed to bits help innumerably in making the battles exciting. Definitely one to give a go, especially if you're a fan of medieval settings and history itself in general.

Could be called a spiritual successor to Mount and Blade

I love this game, though it certainly isn't for everyone. It has a lot of similarities to Mount and Blade, where you play one character in an army you're leading against large armies. It's definitely starting to age but it's a lot of fun.
