Save the Mungolan people from the evil Collosotropolans in Platypus, the best selling clay shoot-em-up and its sequel Platypus 2! Test your reflexes and skills in these 3 challenging games.
The city of Collosatropolis has reached the limits of its expansion. The leaders have decided the simplest solution is to invade the neighbouring country of Mungola. They don't anticipate much of a struggle - Mungolans are simple, earthy types without much love for industry. In fact, Mungola's entire defence force consists of a single squadron of fighter planes - the venerable F-27 "Platypus".
Platypus 2 is a fast, frantic and fun Arcade-style shoot-em-up!~Once again take to the sky’s in your F-27 “Platypus” craft. This time you must save the entire planet. You will also visit the invaders home world in level 5 to destroy the alien’s leader.
You are NUX, sole survivor of the Nexon warrior tribe. The evil Silithax has invaded your home world of Nexolus, devoured your fellow Nexons and stolen the sacred power crystals! With your home in ruins and only your ship and your trusty blaster to protect you, here begins your final mission, destroy the Silithax.
2D games are a big hit these days, but the problem is that there are misunderstandings around 2D title success, simply releasing a 2D game won't necessarily mean getting a nod for it, unfortunately Platypus apply this theory, release a simple classic 2D game and it will get enough attention, and it did got one, but not so positive, the graphics are... meh, physics are irritating, missions are somewhat repetitive, the only exception is Nux which is having more varied tasks. So if you are hoping to play some casual 2D game then I suggest that you keep looking, but if you did searched and didn't come up with something decent, then you might want to try this pack, but generally I would have preferred Nux, as always watch a gameplay first before making any decisions.
