From the darkest fathoms of the ocean comes Proteus, an imposing deep-sea diver built to handle pressure!
Being already a new car for Rocket league, It feels something heavy by its aesthetic of "Underwater" and that in fact some movements can become clumsy as far as what jumps concerns, It does not feel sufficiently compensated with its power to push and jumping so strong but low
While you driving Proteus, it feels you drive with Marauder (if you bought and played Marauder Pack) but you will drive in oceans and underwater instead of land. Maybe Proteus's appearance looks ugly for you, but its handling and performance is great.
Rocket League's Proteus DLC adds a new car with a strange look to it, it has what looks like two little arms coming out of the front, maybe to look like antenna if you use the ladybug decal. It is actually a pretty ugly looking car, often even more so when many of the decals are added to it. The hitbox of the Proteus is similar to the Octane, when compared to the Triton that launched with this the Proteus has more width, less length, and slightly less height. The low price is nice but if you don't plan on using the Proteus all that much it won't add any other content to your game and can be skipped without any real loss.
The Proteus battle-car was recently added as a DLC in Rocket League. The car looks like a big submarine. In my opinion, the details in its design are awesome but with that being said, the car feels heavy and is similar to the Grog, Merc and the rest of the big battle-cars in the game. If you like them or have a playstyle that relies on bigger cars, this is definitely a car you would enjoy having. Even though I don't like it as much as the other ones, I would still recommend getting it.
